23.01.2022 Sun, Surf and early Falcons pre Covid days

22.01.2022 The Early Falcon Register has aquired Jeff Dorrell's original Squire Register, we didn't go looking, it found us. We have run a register on the Squires the last few years but with Jeff's data leading up to the mid 90s, we can match a few more cars up. If you have a Squire, we would like to hear from you, any details are held in strict confidence as details are used in a database to help restore original sales facts and info.

21.01.2022 Have you ever wished you had a one of a kind car, especially an early Falcon ? In 1961 the XK had two cars built in separate months in their configuration to be one of a kind. We can help you and you can help us in answers to your own car, please message for more details

16.01.2022 The Early Falcon Register has been contacted by a member that during ISO has found an old XP owners manual he would like to return to the original car if possible for free. We ran the numbers but unfortunately didn't have a match. What we did find however was another XP two numbers off during the assembly line, both Honey Gold also. If you have a Honey Gold XP and would like to share your details with the Register, we may be able to rehome the original manual if it matches. Frank Anton owns this nice Honey Gold example.

12.01.2022 A few years ago Brett Hay replied to a pic of a Silver Blue XP Futura Hartop he used to own and if anyone knew where it is now. Just recently we have been asked if any history is known on the same car from the current owner, David Bauer. We are pleased to be able let them both know it's journey from 1986 until current day. A deceased auction of a well known early Falcon collector, Reg Tilley was held on the 20th June 1986 in SA. We believe it was lot 200 in the auction, Bret...t had purchased for $800. Brett drove the car around for many years before selling to John Ganeo at Fishop Falcons in 2002. The car then caught the eye of an interstate buyer with the car ticking all the boxes of what was required for its rebuild. The XP found a new home in Narrabri, NSW for a rebuild, however this rebuild would be a Bill Warner XP Sprint tribute car. Who better to build the car was Bert Hawkins, the previous owner of the original existing XP Warner Sprint Hardtop. Many period hard to find parts were sourced and the car was painted Satin Red with two tone interior. This car was built for his brother and stayed in the Hawkin's family until it has changed hands to it's current owner. The crown and glory and credit to the builder of the car, The now red XP Hartop took out the Grand Champion at the 2009 Early Falcon Nationals. Brett and David, we hope this will answer many questions you have had.

10.01.2022 The Early Falcon Register is always asked how can owners help or what is done with the details. Pics of the ID plate, Radiator support panel stamping and suspension tower stamping will greatly help build the Register so we can rebuild original Ford build data. We do not need to know any other details like who owns the car, rego plate etc. Any details sent in are not shared anywhere and appreciate the time people have taken to send in details. All pics shown are one of the Register admins own cars so happy to share. Let's see what owners can decode :).

08.01.2022 Do you have an ID plate that just leaves you confused even more ? There is every chance your car was a custom order from the Factory. It could be Ex army, police, taxi, airlines etc. These stampings we can help you with, the more details owners supply, the more we are able to answer questions.

08.01.2022 When back in the day, they were just a used car, no-one thought any different. Many early Falcons have met their demise unfortunately but what we are about istrying to rebuild factory information with what cars and details are still out there to be able to share model specific data to all. This is through survivors, cars that have been cut up, owners manuals etc. Any numbers and plates can help close the gaps in helping restore the biggest database of XK-XP Falcons.

07.01.2022 The Register would like to here of anyone who has this combo, most likely a long shot.

06.01.2022 At the Early Falcon Register we try to not only preserve vehicle information to help answer many questions. We can also possibly locate original ads from when your car was originally sold. If you know your original plates that were on the car shoot us a message, If you don't know the original plates we would still like to here from you with details of your car to add to the database. Cheers

02.01.2022 Does the jacking bracket on your Ute or Van look a little different to others ? It was most likely a Dealer modification.
