17.01.2022 It is with great frustration and heavy hearts that we have to inform you that due to the COVID-19 pandemic, ECC 2020 will not be going ahead. As you can no doubt imagine there is a significant investment in time, resources and money to put on an event of this size and complexity. The current Government mandated restrictions on gatherings (which we would exceed significantly) along with the imminent further restrictions in NSW and the closing of the Victorian, SA and ACT borde...rs has ultimately led to this decision being made. We have also taken into consideration the significant health risks to our team, some of who are at high risk; the venue staff and the general mini trucking community that attends. We have been left with no other choice than to cancel the event. We really are sorry, we know just how much our community has been looking forward to ECC this year. This event has been our passion for 18 years and we are hurting to have to make this decision. The Station has been involved in this conversation and are expecting calls from those who have booked and are looking to recover their funds. 16.01.2022 This year we chose the Rural Fire Service as our charity of choice- and seeing the way things have deteriorated in NSW further since, it has been for a great cause! Massive props to Corey Mace for producing the skate decks for auction and raffle, Luke Kennedy for organising this, the KOUNTRY KUSTOMS guys for running the car wash, everyone who bought raffle tix for the ECC giveaways, and those who completely filled the trailer with clothes and non perishables to head north, W...E THANK YOU! The $7500 raised on the weekend is our greatest achievement. Step 1 - Book your time off at work - we will be there from Thursday the 12th till Monday the 16th of November but the event is Friday 13th November 2020 till Monday 16th November 2020. (Friday, Saturday and Sunday as always)... Step 2 - Register! In 2020 we will be blocking some entry points to make a private road. This means we need to have registrations for the event to do this we ask you to please complete the questions. (For those who are wondering the purpose of this registration is to limit police interference, settle some of the issues the venue has raised and allow us to build a better event.)
