Get in contact with us today if your thinking of playing. A reminder for parents and players to please familiarise yourself with the return to training procedures. Below is the procedure that is in place currently. ... As you can understand these are difficult times and the work we have to do to return is immense. You can help us by following these easy steps. * Contact training for junior grades * No spectators * Hygiene procedures in place before entering field. * All members must follow the directions of the covid safety officers (ground managers) * One entry/exit point (located next to new pavilion) * No change room facilities. Come dressed and ready to train. * Unisex/disabled will be the only toilet available. * Team start times will be staggered to minimise cross contamination. * No drink bottles provided by the club. Bring your own. * No canteen facilities (coming soon) * Equipment will be washed before training to minimise chance of cross contamination. * Get in, get out. No hanging around. * One parent is permitted to watch but must maintain the social distancing rules currently in place. * If your sick, stay home. * Players will need to confirm with team managers if they are attending training so we can manage on field numbers. * Only players that are registered may train. Due to changes in NRL rules and insurance, in order to be able to train you MUST be registered and have paid your insurance fee of $120. There is no way we can waive this, it is set from NRL level. If you registered last season it should only take you a couple of minutes, and you can choose to only pay your insurance or pay your whole fee amount, plus any uniform you need to order. 11.01.2022 *covid update* As you may have heard, some restrictions are starting to be lifted. What this means for us. As it stands nothing changes just yet. ... The Vic NRL office is currently on leave and no correspondence is issued. An advisory panel is meeting tonight to discuss possible return to play scenarios. Once we have more information available we will be in a better position to let everyone know what's going on. Fee structures. A lot of questions have been asked about fees and what a competition will look like. In short, we just don't know at this stage. Training. Although the government has announced an ease in restrictions, in reality we just don't know how we are going to realistically manage this at the moment. Over the coming weeks we will gradually return to training. Training may look a little different as we minimise the contact and numbers. Some teams have more then 10 (including the coach/asst and other staff) and may need to break into two groups. We haven't been given any direction yet on our ability to provide training as a club. We appreciate everyone's support during these unprecedented times. As more information is becoming available, we will let you all know. If you have any questions, by all means feel free to message us. #WeAreRaptors

We will keep you updated as we receive any further information. We would like to thank each and every one of you for your support during this extremely difficult time. We have been overwhelmed by the messages of support we have received, and we thank you for your patience and understanding.... Thank you to our brothers and sisters at the other sixteen Melbourne based clubs, and thank you to the staff at NRL Victoria for doing everything possible to get us on the field this year. 01.01.2022 IMPORTANT: I can't even believe I have to write this, but I'm so sorry to let you all know that due to lockdown coming back into effect from tomorrow, Saturday's junior kick off is CANCELLED. The NRL Vic board is meeting tonight, and we will come back to you with more details after that. As for tonight, the club will be open from 5.30 pm if you want to come down one last time before lockdown. The usual protocols will be in place.
