25.01.2022 2 months til Christmas how crazy is that?? If you’re one of the many who find the festive season super busy, stressful, overwhelming and just not that enjoyable here’s a reminder it doesn’t need to be that way. Here’s a couple things you can do to support yourself the next couple months: 1: Say no if you need to. This time of year can be so BUSY with breakups, festive gatherings and catchups. Remember you don’t have to actually do EVERYTHING! If you are feeling the stress of... doing it ALL maybe you just need to say no to a thing or two? 2. Remember to breathe. If you are feeling the overwhelm check in with your body and take a moment to take some nice even breaths. By matching your inhalation with your exhalation (breathing in for a count of 5 and then breathing out for a count of 5) for just a few minutes you can actually help to calm your body’s stress response. 3. Take time for you!! Whatever it is you like to do to bring more ease into your body and life DO THAT! See more

20.01.2022 Planting fruit trees today Got this fig and a paw paw and let's face it I'll probably feed my addiction again soon and get some more Now the thing about growing things is that the result I'm after (fresh food and pretty flowers) is not gonna happen immediately. In fact apparently it might be years before I get fruit from my paw paw but in the mean time I'll take the steps necessary to keep it growing. I'll water it, I'll fertilize it, I'll move it if I haven't chosen th...e right place for it and no doubt I'll talk nice things to it. Lots of small steps repeated over and over again til I get the result I'm after It struck me as I was putting these in that health can be a little like this. We want a result. Less pain, more ease, less dis-ease (whatever it may be for you) and ultimately we want that result now! But more often than not we have to take lots of small steps over and over to get there. 15.01.2022 We love helping families stay healthy and flexible! This morning we had a family of 4 in for a tune up! We are often asked why we care for teenagers and kids... Ever seen a teenager bent over staring at their phone for hours at a time, or felt the weight of the school bag they have to lug around 5 days a week? What about a tween throwing themselves around on a trampoline or at a skate park?? These everyday stressors can have a big impact on developing spines and we love making sure they are adapting to them as best as possible (ps mum reckons she brings them in for an attitude adjustment )
