25.01.2022 This Facebook page is a professional one and I don’t usually respond to personal messages from people I don’t know. I am not engaged in public life at this tim...e due to personal circumstances and the current collapsed state of the industry in which I have been professionally involved for more than 43 years. However, as a private person I support the positions of the Australian Brumby Alliance and the Mountain Cattlemen’s Association of Victoria who have pledged their support to retaining sustainable brumby numbers in the Alpine National Park. 23.01.2022 Massive weekend at @tamborineequestriangroup TEG Steelworks Construction EvQ International Three Day Event LaRouge took out 5th place out of a competitive fiel...d in the EvA95A. From 7th after dressage, a clear cross country run! Her first ODE this year! 4th after CrossCountry, with an unlucky rail in showjumping, finishing 5th overall Very proud of my beautiful girl Chocolate Lad received a 77.89% from one judge in his dressage test, putting him in 2nd place cross county was one of his best rounds until he showed that he is still a young horse and gets distracted. Overall a very productive and successful weekend as I also received best and fairest award! Thank you to everyone who organised and kept the event running super smoothly! A massive thank you to my sponsors; Equestrian Wear, Emily Begley Photography and Elite Horse and Pet Australia! Thank you to mum, dad and Heather for your efforts and continued support and love! 21.01.2022 It is no secret that Nathan uses Technyflex - Premium Joint Supplement in all his horses feed. Not only is it an honor to be chosen to be an Ambassador for a g...ood product, seeing the product work and do what it claims is why Nathan endorses Technyflex - Premium Joint Supplement. The horse pictured is a Thoroughbred we picked up a year ago from the owner, Melanie Casson. His pet name is Bruno - show name is My Royal Highness. The trip home was mainly on the Logan Motorway, something frightened Bruno, he began rearing and kicking out in our horse float, By the time we could pull over, Bruno had kicked out 2 windows - fallen then lifted a heavy divider out of the holders and was standing on the divider. Bruno had horrific injuries, he had pulled so many muscles on the off-side hind, he was three times his size from the rump to his leg. He was stitched on his face, neck and whither. All we could do is treat Bruno for pain and inflammation until the swelling subsided. Like all the other horses Bruno received Technyflex - Premium Joint Supplement every day. After a couple of months, Bruno stopped dragging his hind leg, and after 4 months in the paddock resting, he was cantering on three legs. One year later Bruno is ready for his first competition in November. As far as getting back on the float, Bruno walks on with no effort then we take him off, we have yet to take him for a drive, but we will work on that. Since this photo was taken, Bruno has grown more muscle evenly and each week he is looking more sensational than the last. Our next Technyflex update will be Dom. See more

18.01.2022 Who are we and what do we do? Good question. Elite Horse and Pet Australia, locally know as Elite Horse Products. We are a local operated business established in the Northern Rivers Area of NSW some years ago. It did not take long before we decided that many of the local clubs and associations needed some form of ongoing sponsorship to assist with local events. From this point we decided to support local clubs that were locally based. We decided to sponsor local events and cl...ubs to the best of our ability. Be mindful we sponsor many of the equestrian sports, Show Horse, Dressage, Camp drafting, Eventing, Stock Horse Events, Pony Club. The need for local sponsors is very important as they rely on locals to support them as they support you. Local business supporting local people. Local business will be mindful if any funds derived for local events is collected by a National Body and NOT put back into the local community. The photo is attract your attention. See more

17.01.2022 To all our club members. You should have received an email from the SHCA. The content of the email is an explanation and concise summary from the Forum and subs...equent Delegates meeting held in Sydney on the 13th and 14th of July. We recommend that you please take time to read all the attachments of the email so as to understand the need for the SHCA to move forward and restructure. At a club level it is business as usual, and any members who have already arranged to attend the upcoming shows will not be affected. Our club was represented at the meeting by Elanore Gerry and myself (Les Gilleard). Based on what was discussed and decided we believe that the SHCA is heading in the right direction with a need for change. Our club executive will arrange to meet as soon as practical to discuss the outcomes from the Forum and set a date for a general meeting open to all members. If you have any concerns or questions please email your club at [email protected] . This post is written by Les Gilleard President NNSW Show Horse Assc. Inc. See more

10.01.2022 Happy Mouth bits OR Unhappy Mouths??.....These bits are often deemed a kinder, softer bit and commonly used as a transitional bit for youngsters. By nature, man...y horses chew on their bits, often causing chips, scratches and chunks to be bitten out of nylon type bits. When a chewed bit is used repeatedly in the mouth they pose a significant trauma risk to your horse/pony/Shetland. Please be very aware of the condition of your Nylon bit - if its chipped/ scratched/chewed please throw it away...you may just save your horse ALOT of pain. See more

03.01.2022 A post from BRETT PARBERY. Can amateur riders really ever compete with the professionals? Yes! 100%!! For SURE! Some of the best riding Ive seen is by amate...ur riders (and Ive also seen some pretty ordinary riding by professionals)! Dont forget, professionals have commercial pressures associated with their riding, and that pressure often doesnt help them become the best riders they can be. Ive seen some wonderful amateur riders. The best amateur riders I see are those who take responsibility for their learning and training by actively seeking information. Theyre often very intelligent people in different ways, with successful careers and lives outside of horses. They are thinkers and learners, that gives them the foundation to be fabulous riders and horse trainers. You might be surprised to know something that my professional rider friends and I often say. We might watch a horse develop with a rider and well say you know, I couldnt have achieved that with that horse. Thats because amateur riders are prepared to go through all the myriad of issues that the horse is throwing at them, and they KEEP GOING, probably because they dont need to make money from the horse, or answer to owners or financiers, and probably also because theyve invested in the horse and that is likely their only horse, so theyre prepared to take as long as it takes. Its also because they BELIEVE in their horse! So for you, an amateur rider, know that I believe in YOU and your ability to bring out the best in your horse. Dont ever think youre behind the eight-ball, not being a professional. You actually have some advantages that us professionals dont have. So go for it, I want to see you succeed! If youd like my support, join me in my Dressage Fundamentals course to learn my entire 6-layered system. We have six weeks of live group online workshops starting 29 July so now is the perfect time to get started and begin learning before the workshops kick off! https://theparberyprogram.com/join/ Joint health is the most important thing in a dressage horse so we choose to use TECHNYFLEX to ensure that our horses stay happy, healthy and fit to perform.

03.01.2022 Heading to TEG this weekend for the 3 day Event. As a long term sponsor at this event we are looking forward to a great three days. Come over and take a look at our great range of products including #TechnyflexPremiumJointSupplement. Also come over for some puppies and cuddles. We will have these little ones with us for a couple of days. See you all on the weekend.

02.01.2022 I was asked the other day, "what are the benefits of being a stand alone independent local community based club? Please read to the end as I will try to keep th...is as brief as possible. The main benefit is that all monies that are raised by the local club are held within the club and used for the benefit of the members. This applies to membership fees, and any profits made from events and or activities that the club wishes to become involved with. All monies spent by the local cubs to organise events are spent in the local community. On many occasions its the local businesss that sponsor the events and in return the locals support those that support them. If a local club wishes to be involved in Show Horses then usually the local club will affiliate with and organisation that is more Show Horse focused. So members of the local club can compete under that affiliation. Many local clubs are not established just for Show Horse events. Many of local club members compete in other events that are not Show Horse related. Many of the local clubs have a variety of horses, Stock Horses, OTT, Drafting , Cutting etc. Today I was at the Nimbin Show. A large part of many of the local Agricultural Shows is the Horse Events. These horse events are usually organised with the help of the local horse clubs and its the members of these local clubs that take their horses to the AG Show. All the proceeds from the horse events goes to the Ag Show Society and the money stays with in the local community. Local clubs put money back into the local economy. Do you think that if membership is paid DIRECT to an Australasia Company Ltd. that money will be put back into our local community? Many of the local Agricultural Societies would not survive without the money spent at there show grounds by the local clubs. Thanks for making it to the end. See more

02.01.2022 KIM HARVEY REPORTS ON HER SON, NATHAN, AND HIS HORSE DOM- In the past, Nathans main horse, Kiteroa Dominic, had been labelled lame by many Qld Dressage Judges,... after extensive visits to vets and chiropractors, we did find an old sports injury on the nearside flank. We were advised to massage this area daily with a cream and use a very good supplement for the muscles and joints. We found the supplement and gel that really does work - Technyflex. Many people asked what we did to help Dom, we said we use Technyflex premium joint supplement every single day. Doms old sports injury which is in one of the worst places to heal, has improved to the point of completing a 3000km round trip from Brisbane to Boneo, Victoria. Nathan and Dom also returned home with the Title of Boneo Spring CDI FEI Para Equestrian Grade V Champions. While at Boneo Park Nathan caught up and had a chat with fellow Technyflex ambassador, Brett Parbery. Nathan has been invited by Logan Shire Council to the City of Logan Sports Awards for the 2019 Elite Athlete with a Disability of the Year. These awards pay tribute to the citys most elite athletes and inspirational sports people, and winners will be announced at the Gala Awards dinner on Saturday 2 November. In August Nathan was invited to perform a freestyle on Dom for the members and families of The Sunshine Coast RDA. He showcased during this Open Day with Guy McLean. It was a very special time for Nathan to give back to where he began - at RDA.

01.01.2022 ANZAC DAY. A day to remember and reflect. Remember all the Horses that also served in conflict. My Grandfather served in a Field Artillery Regiment on the Western Front during WW1. Horses were the there. This etching tells the their story.
