24.01.2022 ***Brand new beginners’ yoga class*** New class starts this Monday 1st April for beginners or those wanting a gentle practice 6:30pm -7:30pm... ENRG FITNESS (Gym) Corner Canterbury/Liverpool Roads Kilsyth This class runs at room temperature and if you’re a first timer to the gym you can have your first class free!! From there, it’s only $10 per class or there are other payment options if you want to combine hot yoga into the mix! What to bring/wear : Yoga mat (hire mats available too) Water Blanket Stretchy clothes Yoga mats are the thin type... generally sold as 5 or 6 mm mats. They’re under $10 from Kmart or similar stores. The fitness mats are thick and spongy and not really suitable for yoga. If you buy a mat, unroll it and hang it over a chair for a day so it relaxes otherwise you’ll be fighting with it during class A bit about Yoga Etiquette Polite yogis are a few minutes early for class. Pretend it starts at 6:25! Five minutes late is too late! Please enter the room with bare feet. Stow your footwear under the bench outside the room. All personal items are to be put in the small storage room inside the yoga room as you will only need your mat, water and blanket. Please tell your loved ones that you are offline for just one hour as phones/smart watches are not required as part of your practice. For some of you, it may be the only hour you get to yourself so enjoy it!! Finally, every yoga practice has a start, a middle, and an end.
