25.01.2022 So what does "percutaneous" mean? It means, literally, "through the skin". The Latin root per cutem, meaning through the skin, was combined in the late 19th century with the English suffix aneous to form "percutaneous". Percutaneous is commonly used to describe procedures in which no incision is made, but access is gained to inner organs or other tissue via needle-puncture of the skin . Percutaneous Electrolysis Therapy is a revolutionary new technique in the treatment of tendinopathies. It creates a natural abrasion of damaged cells, and induces the body to create a highly localised inflammation needed for recovery. Read more here: http://bit.ly/1WcIRzl

22.01.2022 Up to 50% of ex-athletes aged over 45, and 10% of sedentary people, experience Achilles tendon injuries. These are usually the result of overuse, caused by a sudden increase in repetitive actions involving the Achilles tendon. Physical characteristics, such as over pronation and the use of shoes without adequate stability, can further aggravate the Achilles tendon and lead to injury. Read it now: http://www.epte.com.au/the-achilles-tendon-injuries-and-tr/
