09.01.2022 JUMPING | With the borders closed and strict social distancing guidelines in place several organising committees have still managed to hold events for their loc...al riders breathing much needed positivity into the current Covid-19 climate. Events have been run by ACT Jump Club, Forbes Show jumping, Stonewall Equestrian, Sydney Show jumping Club and YRC Show Series just to name a few. Edwina Mitchell of Waratah Showjumping who normally runs her event in August was forced like many other show organisers to cancel/postpone and adhere to the restrictions that have been put in place for the safety of our riders, their support crew and the community. Edwina was able to run her event 'Waratah Showjumping' at Sydney International Equestrian Centre recently which saw competitors from all over NSW come and compete. High Performance Green Squad Jumping rider Jamie Kermond said; It’s been a tough year for all, it was great to be back out competing at Waratah Show Jumping. With the restrictions Australia has had due to Covid-19 it's proving to be very positive for us leading into summer, when the rest of the world looks like they are setting up for their second wave Stephen Mowbray Photography #Jumping #JumpingoutofCovid #Equestrian #Competition #AusEquestrianTeam Equestrian NSW Jumping NSW Inc Yandoo Park
