21.01.2022 A clients horse presented with discomfort in the saddle area. After numerous treatments whilst being in ridden work he continued to show pain and little improvement throughout his thoracic area. I was unhappy with his response to the manipulation treatments and wanted to investigate further rather than continuing on going sessions. We decided to thermal image his back and pinpointed a few areas behind his withers which showed heat and inflammation (shown in photos) From this ...I strongly recommended my client see a vet for X-rays and unfortunately this horse was then diagnosed with severe kissing spine. This handy little camera can really bridge the gap between bodyworker and vet treatment, it can pinpoint exact areas of concern and in this case stopped a horse from being in continuous pain.
