24.01.2022 Migration Tasmania provided an update in regards to State Nomination yesterday. Please read the article below written by the Department of State Growth for more information. ***... The Department of State Growth understands the concerns held by some current and prospective skilled migrants as the State Visa Nomination Program changes at the national level. We recognise the valuable contribution that skilled migrants bring to the state and continue to work with the Australian Government to provide more clarity as much as possible. Unfortunately, until we receive confirmation from the Department of Home Affairs some applications will not be able to progress further, but will remain active and be addressed once this advice is received. . We will keep all nominees and applicants updated on the status of the program as new information becomes available. Currently there are a limited number of interim nomination places available in Tasmania, with the focus on nominations that will assist the states public health system and economic recovery.
