25.01.2022 We used Natures Botanical Creme on our trip around Oz and it was the only product thay worked everytime, against flies, mozzies, midges and sandflies.

24.01.2022 Craig and I headed from Adelaide to a property in Goomburra QLD called Gordon Country. The property is approximately 4,000 acres hosting 4wd tracks and camping areas amongst the trees or by rivers. There is access to walking trails that take you through rain forrests to spectacular viewing platforms and water falls. We were there with our Metalian family from Off Trax Campers Australia during the Easter break. We were surprised at how popular the camp sites were and how qui...ckly they filled up. A few if us did get an additional night after the rush and were able to experience the serenity of outback living. $18 per adult per night with kids $11 per night. If you wish to do some 4wding then it is a one off fee of $20. The are also showers and toilets available throughout the campgrounds. All in all the property is just stunning and Craig and I highly recommend Gordon Country as a place to go for your next trip.

17.01.2022 Australia needs you to STAY HOME. As much as we think it is the perfect time to 'go bush' or to implement your 'bug-out plan' and 'self-isolate' IT’S NOT. Resources across the country are stretched to the limit and the last thing our nation needs is for everyone to 'go bush'. Shires are already closing popular camping sites and locations and regions are pleading for visitors to stay away to help prevent the virus spread and to not potentially put undue pressure on already lim...ited resources. Europe is already paying the price for not taking the requests of their governments seriously and now people are dying in their hundreds on a daily basis. Yes we all had trips planned and were looking forward to getting away however right now Australia is closed. Western Australia is closed. Both the State and Federal Governments are discouraging ALL NON ESSENTIAL TRAVEL. This is not a political commentary. I don’t care who you vote for or what you think of the decisions being made by our politicians and government officials but think of this before you decide to post your opinions online. NO-ONE living has had to deal with the situation that we are currently enduring. NO-ONE has the answers or a planned schedule of how to react to this evolving situation. No-one has all the answers. 11.01.2022 Its been far too long since my last trip post. Tonight we are hunkering down in Smoky Bay SA. Unfortunately the wind gods arent playing nice and BOM has issued a strong wind warning for all SA waters. I was hoping to get down the jetty here to get some specky sunset shots, but Im not sure how I feel about being teathered to Craig or the jetty... So with all that said, we have opted for a cabin Metmaxi will have to stay packed up for the night. The cabin is clean an tidy with an ensuite, queen bed and a kitchenette. The caravan park and the ocean front camp sites are well tendered and clean and tidy. Id recommend the stay here at Smoky Bay Caravan Park & Cabins #metalian #metaliancampers #offtraxwa
