24.01.2022 After four years of indescribably, amazing energetic interactions, Etherica, as a destination drop-by shop, will close on Wednesday 16 May. To all of you who dropped by to say hello; to seek advice; to admire the art; to enjoy the atmosphere; try on the jewellery; or make purchases - I wish to express a heartfelt thank you. To all of you who came forward and astonished me with your stories of how I had assisted you spiritually, mentally or emotionally, and in some instances,... changed your lives - please allow me to explain how your sharing of these stories has allowed me to see the impact that Etherica has had upon your lives. I am humbled by the unexpected influence I've had. To all who attended the full moon Atma Kriya chanting; joined the meditations; experienced the shamanic medicine drumming; or attended my workshops - thank you for your participation, your attentiveness and enthusiasm. To all the new friendships with which I've been blessed; to those who have encouraged me; and those who have included me in their activities and shared their journey - thank you for your love and support. To all of you - thank you for showing me that the financially-failing Etherica was, in reality, a spiritual and energetic community success beyond my wildest imaginings. 03.01.2022 Autumn Wind - graphite drawing on watercolour paper. This is a small landscape drawing I did after graduation, when living for a time in the country - to escape... the 'art scene'. University left me disillusioned with 'art'. However, I knew I had a burning desire to paint and draw and to uplift my fellow travellers with my painting and drawing. So I disconnected totally from everyone I knew and worked in virtual isolation to forget about the vapid artifices and intellectual pretensions of 'art' and reconnect with my love of creativity and with the profound intoxication I experienced when alone in nature. This drawing was one of the first results of that time.
