Real Life Assistants "We have set up two small social enterprises employing people with disabilities (at industry award rates) to assist them to successfully transition back into mainstream employment. Participants are supported and supervised by a support worker while on site, and have come to us with significant knowledge in their fields. We are very excited to offer them this opportunity, and would love you to keep us in mind if you need these services for your participants (or need your car washed in between your appointments). Here are some noteworthy ones from this week: - Kira's client who is a quadruple amputee got his license! - Nikki had a Major Bathroom Modification approved through the NDIS!... - Tracey completed her first Specialist Disability Accommodation Report! - Reagan had a scooter approved within 1.5 weeks of submission! - Kristen, our wonderful receptionist celebrated her 1 year anniversary at Facilitate! Congratulations to everyone on their fantastic achievements !

20.01.2022 NEW STAFF UPDATE! We would love to introduce you to our new Occupational Therapy Assistant, Selina. Selina will be working alongside our Occupational Therapists to deliver programs to adults and children towards their therapeutic goals. Selina has experience in disability, paediatrics, mental health and aged care. We are very excited to have her on board!



19.01.2022 Roger was over the moon with the delivery of his new Permobil M5, scripted by his OT, Annie and supplied by Andrew at Independent Living Specialists. After some back and forth with the NDIS, he was approved to receive a power wheelchair with extra suspension and all the bells and whistles so that he can safely access his backyard, as well as the farm he and his wife own all while independently managing his pressure and positioning all day. Merry Christmas, Roger!
