24.01.2022 THANK YOU ARCHIE We would like to celebrate Archie our Dental Aid Dog has officially been working at Fairview Park Dental Clinic for 1 year ! In that time he has helped so many people at our clinic by alleviating some of the stress and anxiety people feel when visiting the dentist. It is also nice for everybody else too including the staff ... It has also been an amazing year for Archie as he has settled into his job very well with his gentle nature. He has loved all the hugs, pats, love, treats, toys & bones. Archie has enjoyed the special outings to Cafes, RSPCA Paws Walk, Inglewood Inn Doggie Xmas Party and his 1st Birthday Party Celebrations. An amazing opportunity came to us with Archie being chosen to have a segment about his job on Channel 7s Today Tonight programme. He also appeared in the Advertiser & the Local Messenger. We always have a high standard of infection control at our clinic and we have put in extra measures in this uncertain times to protect our staff and our patients.... Our clinic, which is designed to reduce the transmission of aerosol and infections for ourselves and every single patient every single appointment already. You also however, may notice a few changes about our practice in our reception area too to reduce the risk to all of our staff and patients. If you arent feeling well, have a cold/flu, have recently traveled overseas or have been in contact with someone known to have the COVID-19 virus we ask you to delay any dental treatment. Upon arrival, we will now be taking all our staff & patients temperature. We also have made available in our reception area antibacterial hand sanitizer for you to use. We also ask that if you do need to sneeze or cough that you do this into a clean tissue & then place into waste basket, then wash your hands. Alternatively, use your upper arm. We are also cleaning our reception area even more frequently. If you need any concerns or are worried about these measures, please call 8251 1133 and we can answer any of your concerns.
