25.01.2022 Today I had the pleasure of having a bit of down time with one of my amazing clients, spending time with her and chilling out in her beautiful garden that has been getting a wonderful makeover thanks to the lovely gentleman Mick Smith and all her amazing support workers Tracey Tanner

23.01.2022 POLICE APPEAL TO IDENTIFY ELDERLY WOMAN Police need help to identify this elderly woman who was abandoned outside the Nambour Hospital on September 6 at 12....20pm by an unknown man. She is distressed and unable to communicate with staff. She appears to be between 80-90 years old and was wearing a long brown coat and slippers. An unknown man walked with the woman to a chair outside the hospital, before immediately leaving. Anyone who knows either of these people is urged to contact Police immediately. 16.01.2022 When I first started in this industry my soul drive was this amazing lady, she has kept me grounded, always ensured that my ego was in check and gave and showed me so much love and purpose. She has been my inspiration in not only my personal but my professional life as well. She has given me the motivated to fight for the change that this world needs when it comes to assisting and supporting people with disabilities. Now in my journey I have met so many more people to add to ...that inspiration and I am so lucky to have each and everyone of you in my life. Today I was lucky enough to have you all around me, I am so grateful to have such an amazing supportive network of people that I learn from and strive to do my best for every day. Thank you all so much for your love and support. We are in this together. WE will make a difference together.

08.01.2022 Staffing- My staff are the backbone of my company. We would not be where we are without them. We are so blessed to have such an amazing, caring and professional team. We offer all different kinds of support to our staff including EAPs, Anxiety courses and any other training they require or wish to do to further their career. Without our amazing team we would have nothing. To all my current staff, thank you for all the hard work and how much you all go above and beyond for every single one of our amazing clients.

05.01.2022 The mandatory face mask order has caused a lot of concerns for my fellow deaf community members. Deafness is invisible, and people will assume you can hear. ... Sister and I ran some personal errands, and we appreciated the patience people displayed after we showed them our cards and they accommodated our needs. Heres our tip, make your own card, it will help you. And remember you are a valued member of society too!

03.01.2022 A question I get asked regularly is why would someone pay an organisation when they can just get someone privately. Recently a ad for private support workers came up on my Facebook, the pricing was between $44-$60 an hour for week days. We charge in between this. My answer to this question is security and peace of mind. Knowing that the person coming into your home has been vetted thoroughly. Has all the relevant checks done, blue and yellow card, first aid CPR. The person ...has someone to answer to if they are always late, if they dont turn up to shift. Having that back up for yourself if there is a situation you are not comfortable with you always have someone else to go to. To have a coordinator that knows the ins and out to assist you in your planning and ensuring you get the most out of your package in the way that you want to. Our biggest aim is to create a safe environment were you and your loved ones, know you are safe, secure and your best interest are always at the forefront of our minds. That you are getting the support that YOU want in life for the benefit of yourself.

02.01.2022 Not that I get to spend much time in here lately. But I am so proud with how everything is coming along and everyones love and support. And a massive shout out to my amazing team, in the office and out you guys are all incredible and do such an amazing job. From clients to support staff, we have such an awesome team.
