07.01.2022 Only 11 days until ANZAC Day! Things are going to be different for ANZAC Day this year, but we still want our Veterans to be remembered. There are a number of w...ays you can show your support this year: 1. You can show your support for our Veterans and Cairns RSL Sub Branch by purchasing ANZAC Day memorabilia at our online shop https://crslsb.org.au/shop/ 2. Thousands of Aussies have pledged to hold their own Dawn Service in their driveway on ANZAC Day, and we want you to take the pledge and say you'll join them https://crslsb.org.au/events/ 3. Every year at Christmas time we put up decorations. In the lead up to ANZAC Day, every year, let’s start a tradition of putting up decorations around our homes and yards in memory of our ANZAC's. Don’t forget to share your photos and videos with the hashtags #ANZACspirit #lighupthedawn, send them through to our Facebook page or email [email protected] The best decorated home/yard in the Cairns region will receive a limited edition Western Front Teddy Bear. The most creative photos will also be featured on the cover of our quarterly members magazine, Sit-Rep.
