Great efforts, lots of awesome looking boards walked out the door this afternoon. I hope you all enjoyed yourselves, learned a few things and most importantly went home and enjoyed your platters. Thank you for your beautiful energy. I enjoyed spending the afternoon with you all! Carmie x

18.01.2022 Feed Me Eat & Be Happy Peeps.. We are once again subject to the Rona coaster as I like to call it. 10 ppl to a house means no grazing tables at a private residence. It’s not possible unless I charge the earth to cover my costs and for only 10 ppl, I understand that most people just can’t justify the cost.... No grazing tables in venues. every booking I had in a private venue has cancelled due to fear and number restrictions. Today I have refunded all my current bookings. Today I have not only lost any foreseeable profit for the rest of the year but I have also taken a loss. You see, catering is not just buying a bag of groceries for someone. It is hours of planning, costing, organising, contacting suppliers, ordering, picking up stock, having labels made, building boxes, paying invoices, sending accounts & emails, social media, marketing, being available to answer constant questions, requests & enquires, half of which never come to fruition. That’s all before I touch a piece of food. Then there’s the hours and hours of cooking, baking and preparation. Then the set up. Then the clean up. The delivery. This is hours and hours of work. I don’t get paid by the hour. I work for myself. Sometimes I don’t make a dollar. Sometimes it costs me my own money. I don’t just shove some ingredients in a box and call it a day. There’s a lot more involved. So today for the second time this year I have taken a hit. This is not a negative post. This is a ... I.. WILL... NOT.. BE... BEATEN post. I’ve picked up my socks and thrived after the first lockdown lifted. And... I will do it again. Right now I am doing what I do best.. THINKING OUTSIDE THE BOX for the most important client I’ve had all year.. a little almost 4 year old called Olive whose birthday grazing table has been in the book for a whole 12 months. An excited little girl who doesn’t understand why a virus keeps changing things around her. A girl who I know will sob from a broken heart If mummy has to tell her that her big girl birthday party is cancelled and her friends can’t come anymore. Rona, i don’t think I’ve introduced myself, but I’m Carmie... and I’ve seen bigger, badder monsters than you before. You will not beat me. I am Bullet proof. You watch me not only think outside the box but smash the fucking box into pieces.

16.01.2022 There’s one thing I’ve always been good at! And that’s thinking outside the box! Everyone thinks you’re crazy until you pull it off!! Here is a little reminder to anyone out there with a dream or vision. No matter what it is. Never ever let anyone tell you it’s impossible. You. Can. Literally. Do. Anything. Please don’t listen to anyone else’s opinion! People will have opinions of you anyway!

02.01.2022 Okay guys!!! Over on Instagram the votes are tied!!! Let’s ask Facebook!! I am debating whether to offer grazing boxes or full catered Christmas lunch packs for Christmas Day (delivery Christmas Eve)... My grazing box options will be similar to what I already offer but a bit more Christmasy with truffle balls and white Christmas slices etc etc. My full catered Christmas lunch packs would consist of Roast beef & gravy Roast turkey & honey mustard sauce Ham Crispy bacon & chive potato salad Green salad w dressing Roast veggie tray Fresh breads Everything would come packed in reheatable trays & instructions. Literal reheat & serve!! Priced accordingly. 2 different sizing options (then it’s up to you to choose how many packs you want) 4ppl & 6ppl What are your thoughts!? Please ONLY comment which one you would be more inclined to purchase. Please don’t comment about ingredients or cost as this is something I won’t be changing GO, my Eat & Be Happy Peeps...

02.01.2022 Chef Carmie Who is the face behind Feed Me? It’s meeee!! The passionate, quirky, sometimes foul mouthed, big hearted & self proclaimed comedian, Carmie. I started out as a rebellious 15 year old who got A’s & B’s in school but also liked to skip class for adventures. I was bored of the structure and wanted to know what else was out there beyond the four walls of high school. So after an ultimatum from my good old dad I decided to skip school indefinitely & venture out int...o the big wide world of work. I was offered an apprenticeship at 16 and what followed were years and years of unbelievable opportunity & adventure. From Sydney to London. Cooking for Camilla Parker Bowles, Stella Mcartney, The living End, Olympic athletes, comedians etc etc the list goes on and on. Winning apprentice of the year for South Australia. Being the junior team member in the biannual Tasting Australia competition, to shaking hands and rubbing shoulders with famous chefs you see on TV today. It all leads to me where I am today.. the owner & sole chef of Feed Me Catering. Still marching to the beat of my own drum. Making my own rules & encouraging others to do the same. Food for me is about expression, creativity, experimenting & comfort. I like to think of food as a medium. A medium to good times, heart felt conversation, connection & most importantly love. Love will always be my main ingredient. Thank you all for being here! Eat & Be Happy Carmie See more

02.01.2022 WORKSHOP UPDATE: I am opening up a few more spaces for the grazing board workshop as I sold out in 20 hours. Everyone who purchases a ticket will be receiving a sample bag of this versatile colourful garnish.
