22.01.2022 Finch Hatton Central open this Sunday.

22.01.2022 Our new flag has arrived! Now you can’t miss us when we are open - thank you to the community members that helped make this happen. The ongoing team work to bri...ng this community hub together is finally starting to pay off. The Finch Hatton Central project was taken on over 3 years ago, by the Finch Hatton Progress Association and continues to be ongoing in the restoration and development of the building. The space is intended to be used by all community members for events, workshops and a space to gather for sharing of information both in emergencies and not. If you would like to join in and help volunteer or be a part of this space, pop in and grab a membership form or just come and say hello and have a chat. All are welcome! #communityspace #finchhattoncentral #finchhatton #finchhattoncommunityhub #communityhub #communityshop #community #mackaytourism #mackayregion #pioneervalleyqueensland See more

19.01.2022 Aged and disability Services for Eungella interest group. ECDA is in the early stages of planning for a needs assessment for Eungella with respect to Aged and... disability services. We want to clarify what services are actually already available to Eungella residents, whether there are problems with accessing these services, and whether there are gaps in the availability of these services. Our ultimate aim is to have services delivered here in Eungella with people employed here to provide such services if we identify sufficient need. If you are interested in this issue or you need these services yourself or you already provide assistance for someone who does please come to the ECDA meeting on Friday 16th April at 6.30pm. We will be forming an interest/working group on this issue. You are welcome to join the discussion and the working group whether you are an ECDA member or not. See more
