25.01.2022 Boss baby not letting me have dinner tonight swipe for my quick meal tuna steak on brown rice, zucchini peas and feta (I alternate between keeping a pot of quinoa or brown rice in the fridge that I just take from all week and add to my veg/meal). Bed tonight will be when Boss sleeps 7pm

Heres a pre-pregnancy workout no equipment but a couch or bed necessary 12x pistol squats each leg... 10x tricep push ups 12x opposite leg to arm Extentions each side. 12x commandos lead with left arm for 6 and right arm for 6. 6x burpee tuck jump 12x plank row 12x jump squat to alternate cross over stance 12x tricep dips 12x hip thrust shoulders on bed Repeat 4 times Tips! Always engage your core, all these exercises require good core engagement for them to be performed correctly. Do not rush slow and controlled movements work better than rushed exercises that are performed incorrectly and in turn ineffective. 21.01.2022 Tasty healthy (no flour) Meatballs Ingredients: 500g lean organic beef mince... 1 egg 3/4 cup almond meal 1 tsp dried basil 1 tsp garlic powder 1 tsp sweet paprika 1 red onion, finely chopped 1 finely grated carrot Splash almond milk (about 1/4 cup) Pink salt and pepper to taste 400ml can diced tomatoes 380ml tomato and basil sauce Method: Mix all ingredients in group one in a fowl with clean hands. Roll into 4-5cm diameter balls. Add 2tbls EVOO In a large non stick pan and brown meatballs on med heat. Add both tomatoes and tomato sauce and simmer for a a further 15 mins covered. Add fresh basil and serve. I serve mine on quinoa and the boys love it on pasta. #meatballrecipe #familyfriendlyhealthyrecipes #freerecipe #fffb

21.01.2022 We might come back to homeschooling for an hour this afternoon. For now its some board games then a walk outside to save the tears today. Sending love to everyone who has DMd me that they are also struggling, this is hard and it so ok to just stop altogether or just give yourself a break. We are not teachers and cant expect to on top of cooking 300 meals a week and cleaning and being stuck inside, working, looking after toddles and teach young children things they have never seen before. Preheat oven to 180 degrees Celsius. Place all ingredients in a bowl and mix with clean hands. Shape mixture into desired sized balls and place on a liner tray. 11.01.2022 Pregnancy flashback: It was probably about this point that the swelling kicked in. I started to swell excessively half way during 2nd trimester (I put on a total of 30kgs in my pregnancy, at least 15kg of that was due to the swelling). The swelling got so bad that it impinged on my medium nerve in both wrists causing carpel tunnel it also did the same in my legs and feet. If you were like me, I thought carpel tunnel was a pain in your thumb from handwriting! ... I was definitely wrong. The constant buzzing and pins and needles in both my hands during the day left me with zero grip strength so much so I could not hold a pencil to write and struggled to drive (I used my left hand where it wasnt as bad but would have to switch when I lost all feeling in it). I only drove short 10min or less trips because of this. I would constantly be shaking my hands to try to get some blood flow to my fingers. So exercise became impossible. At night the buzzing turned to incredible shooting pain. I would wake up all night from the pain shooting from my wrist to my fingers and the constant dead arm/hands that would stem from my shoulder down. As well as a similar thing happening in my ankles and calves. Doctors just told me it would most likely go after birth but Id have to ride it out. No position was comfortable to sleep in. Wrist braces didnt work and massage seemed to aggravate the situation. It was exhausting. A few times when reaching or stretching for something with my hands and feet, I would have what felt like a nerve explosion. There would be a big pop of pain followed by hundreds of tiny grape popping in pain surrounding the area. The places this has happened (top of my foot, left pinky, right thumb and pointer finger are still either numb or painful to touch today) these explosions always happened at night. Now with River born I can say nearly 9 weeks after birth it has finally eased! I was beginning to think it would last forever. The first few weeks after he was born I was so scared I would drop him as my hands kept buzzing and feeling dead. Its rare but if anyone has pregnancy onset carpel tunnel there is light at the end of the tunnel! Pun intended See more

07.01.2022 Carrot Muffins Makes one 24 tray mini muffins and one 12 regular muffins Grease trays with coconut oil and preheat oven to 180 degrees.... Ingredients: 4 medium sized carrots grated on small side of grater. 1 cups almond meal 1 cup spelt flour 2 tsp cinnamon 1/2 tsp nutmeg 1 tsp pink salt 1 1/2 tsp baking powder 1 cup coconut sugar cup raw organic sugar (this was for the kids I normally just use 1 2/3 cups coconut sugar) 3 eggs 240 mL coconut oil melted and cooled to room temp 1 cup sultanas (optional) 1/4 cup almond milk 1 tsp vanilla bean extract Method: Combine almond meal, flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, pink salt, baking powder and coconut sugar in a bowl mix with a wooden spoon until well combined In a seperate bowl beat (electric mixer) eggs and sugar until just combined Add in the coconut oil slowly whilst beating on low/med speed Continue beating with mixer and add in the flour mixture in 3 parts adding in the almond milk in the last part. Combine well. Using a wooden spoon stir in vanilla bean extract, carrot, raisins if you like (I make my mini muffins without sultanas as boys like them this way and normal sized with sultanas) Bake mini muffins for 15 mins and allow to cool before taking them from the tray. Regular sized muffins take 25 mins.

05.01.2022 Its a Day late but better late than never! My chewy (gluten and dairy free) Anzac Biscuit Recipe below: 150g coconut oil... 90g maple syrup 160g coconut sugar 1tsp bicarbonate Sosa 1tbs boiling water 150g almond meal 100g rolled oats 90g organic desiccated coconut Pre-heat oven to 160degrees Celsius and line two baking trays in baking paper. In a saucepan melt coconut oil and maple syrup. Once oil has melted add in the coconut sugar continually stirring. Take off the heat, add in bicarb sofa and boiling water stir continuously. Set aside. In a seperate bowl use a wooden spoon to combine oats, almond meal and coconut. Add the contents of the saucepan and stir until well combined. Roll into 3cm diameter balls and place on baking tray 8cm apart. They will flatten out and spread. Place in the oven for 10mins Open oven and swap the top and bottom trays and bake for further 6mins. Remove from the oven and allow to cool fully before touching them. Use a spatula to remove and enjoy! #cleananzacbiscuits #anzacbiscuits #freerecipe #fffb

Working the usual flutes with the banded kicks this move activated your core and works your shoulders too for an all over burn. Be sure to stack your shoulders over your hips and hips over knees (creating right angles in your lip flexes and underarms). Work on keeping you core drawn in and back in line. Go for 30 seconds each side or as long as you can keep form. A mirror helps xo... . . 02.01.2022 This is what I call 2 for 1 dinners: I make gnocchi ragu with left over slow cooked lamb. I put a Mediterranean lamb leg in the slow cooker with a jar of pasata, some rosemary, garlic and some dried porcini mushrooms (after we have half the leg the first night with roast veggies) I agree the rest of the meat in the sauce and mix it through some gnocchi *just add Parmesan xxx #easymidweekdinners #fffb #wholefood

02.01.2022 It’s a Day late but better late than never! My chewy (gluten and dairy free) Anzac Biscuit Recipe below: 150g coconut oil... 90g maple syrup 160g coconut sugar 1tsp bicarbonate Sosa 1tbs boiling water 150g almond meal 100g rolled oats 90g organic desiccated coconut Pre-heat oven to 160degrees Celsius and line two baking trays in baking paper. In a saucepan melt coconut oil and maple syrup. Once oil has melted add in the coconut sugar continually stirring. Take off the heat, add in bicarb sofa and boiling water stir continuously. Set aside. In a seperate bowl use a wooden spoon to combine oats, almond meal and coconut. Add the contents of the saucepan and stir until well combined. Roll into 3cm diameter balls and place on baking tray 8cm apart. They will flatten out and spread. Place in the oven for 10mins Open oven and swap the top and bottom trays and bake for further 6mins. Remove from the oven and allow to cool fully before touching them. Use a spatula to remove and enjoy! #cleananzacbiscuits #anzacbiscuits #freerecipe #fffb
