25.01.2022 Choice us trainers make be lazy train clients hard.. don't address technical issues first? Yay or nay I want client that are in it for the long haul o don't offer fat loss I offer training for life... You give a man a fish he eats once you teach a man or woman to fish they eat for life !... It's simple if I can make a client move better feel better... eventually they will want to look better!! I'd rather want to client that's willing to let go of their ego work on the weaknesses and develops a body that lasts a life time! Random thought and rant lol

21.01.2022 Day 5 of 22 kirby its on you Every day an average of 22 veterans commit suicide. That's 22 people EVERY SINGLE DAY. Facing your demons is not a recognition of failure, but rather an act that requires immense courage. We are all here for one another, and I hope that as a community and a brotherhood we can work together to get that number to zero. The rules are simple:* Once you are nominated your 22 days starts the following day. * Every day you record yourself doing 22 push-ups, try your best to reach 22. If that means doing assisted (from your knees) push-ups or that you have to stop and take a break that's fine. The goal is to get them all done in one video. * Every day you must nominate a different person. Let's reach as many people as possible. These brave men and women put their lives on the line to protect our freedoms only to get back and feel lost. It's sad that so many good veterans feel that suicide is the only way out.



20.01.2022 Pulled out the good ole ankorr vest this morning.... got so comfortable with lifting weights and getting away with the bear minimum..... no pun intended. Such a great way to train without using weights this exercise is awesome in so many ways... Ankle and hip mobility Great way to increase your lactic and anaerobic threshold. So often we get lazy so often we do the bare minimum to get by. Today's session was definitely a hard one we pushed 1 min straight forward bears and re...verse bears for 3 rounds that was just the warm up .... Spend a good 30 mins on the ankorr vest Then another 20 mins doing farmer carries, lizard push-ups , pull ups and rowing.... Some of my clients know I love to make the gym my playground and every once and a while test mine and their limits. Today the training was low skill high intensity Tomorrow I may use high skill moderate instensity with some compound lifting and kettle bell work. Don't be so myopic in training have fun while you do it if your not you don't love it. Thanks for joining me anyone is welcome to join. I love going through struggle with my comrades.

16.01.2022 For those of you who don't know, I've just had a beautiful baby boy!! The last couple of months leading to his birth, my diet and training went out the window... but it was worth it! Now I've heard these reasons from clients before these priorities do take over our health and fitness goals. What's the biggest issue for me now? Is Father Time.. I want to be the best dad I can be for my son, I must priorities my health so I can be there for him when he gets older. Sundays are... for preparation!!! What's your groceries look like?

15.01.2022 Sad to have a long term client leave. So long brother it's been a pleasure working with someone like you! Always trusted to the process!! This transformation was over two years we didn't try to just lose weight or fat we built a person that can train and train very well. Ryan had a knee injury when he first started so he was limited on things he could do. We addressed his postural issues with soft tissue work and stability work first. Then we just drilled technique, and kept putting in the proper accessory work to keep his body from getting injured again! He's had consistent training injury free for the past two years!. I'm so happy he's learned a lot and now can confidently walk into most gym settings and train effectively!



14.01.2022 This is the type of feedback I love from client. He had a trainer previously that would simply push him. This clients main reason for starting with me is that he couldn't really get his chest to work and his shoulders began to get a pinching pain. I'm a personal trainer so I don't diagnose problems. Simply mobilised the areas that need mobility around the shoulder then start strengthening stabilisers through different movements. 2 weeks later coached bench press. To his surprise no pain just good pain! :) This is what fitformations represents we move better we train better we feel better! #fitformations #personaltrainer #mobility #stability #nopainwegain

You guys have helped me become the trainer I am today and given so much so I must repay the debt in sweat and pain!!' ... 6am Wednesday mornings id stay in bed if you ain't rdy to put in work work work work work!

11.01.2022 If form follows function, we must get our body to function properly then it will begin to form itself! Fitformations A lot of times people focus too hard on weight loss, too hard on strength, too hard on what looks pretty and shiny........ As trainers we must focus on our clients goals yes!!! But we have the responsibility to take our clients there in the safest most efficient way possible! Stage one: Correct mobility and movement disfunction first and foremost. Stage two: Work on client stability through movement. Stage three: Once stability and mobility is established we build strength. And constantly revisit stage one and two along the journey!

10.01.2022 Hit my pb 160kg :) So smooth!! I've been working heaps on joint stability rather than flexibility thus have all around good scapula mobility!!! Tried 170kg next video and failed :(! #mobility #personaltrainer #fitformations #bench #strength

07.01.2022 Old saying back home. "Don't talk about it, be about it!" People always share or talk about what they are gonna do nobody really notices or cares. Let your result speak for itself then share how you did it. Don't do things for the glory or a pat on the back. Don't start work hard when someone is watching. Put in work when nobody is looking that's when it counts the most!



05.01.2022 Todays circuit sprint drills with a bit of power... week 3 of a 12 week challenge. ... did 6 or 7 rounds lost count of everything near the end.... hopefully great results coming soon!! :)

03.01.2022 This is so true but so hard for us trainers/coaches of general public and elite to recognize. Sometimes we must bring our clients right back to bare basics and fill in the blanks that have been missed along the way. Remember its easy to get correct form from the start but to reteach years of incorrect form is very challenging. #fitformations #personaltrainer #newbreed #coach #fitsquad
