25.01.2022 Buley Rockhole - this was one of our first waterhole swims and one of the best. So much fun jumping into the deep, clear and in areas dark waterholes. Can't believe how brave the kids have been. In the beginning of our trip the idea of swimming in natural waterholes freaked the kids out a bit not knowing what could be lurking in the waters. Now they are jumping in having a ball. Korben still a bit cautious.

22.01.2022 Kakadu! There is no place like Kakadu on this earth. This place is so unique, special and a place not to be taken for granted. Lots of posts to come about Kakadu. If you ever want a really enriched holiday in terms of learning about eco systems, flora, fauna and the aboriginal way of life then Kakadu is a must. We will be back! Such a beautiful, nature filled place. This is how we did Kakadu ...... many more posts to come. #DoKakadu @SeeKakadu #YellowWaterCruises... Sunset on Yellow Water

21.01.2022 The Lost City. A 10+km dirt 4wd track out to see this fascinating rock structures. Looking of course like a Lost City of old times. We spent 2 hours exploring here. On the way we saw a male Emu and his chick! Apparently they are a rare sight in the area so our camp ground host advised. She was quite excited and was going to report the news to the rangers. So we are very blessed to have spotted them!

16.01.2022 So this is not related to our trip but this article is so good I had to share it. I love this article. This is so true. This (the end of the article) is how we do life as a family. Tonight after dinner we said let’s play a board game but after not agreeing on which one I suggested Hide and Seek. Now even after a week of organising, unpacking and reorganising and trying to evaporate a sea of boxes we were dead set tired but I suggested hide and seek! I’ll admit this is not my...Continue reading

15.01.2022 Early morning camp ground visitors.

14.01.2022 So friends in Dubai will understand that there are very little natural opportunities for kids to climb! This is the real #AdventureHQ so we got a good dose of trying to climb challenging rocks. Imogen is one determined girl!

13.01.2022 A few more of Buley!

09.01.2022 If you’re into Termites here’s some interesting information!

09.01.2022 Haven't posted again for a while as we're back in the Gold Coast settling into life here and exploring this amazing city. Miss our trip but also happy to get into our routine of life and watch the kids thrive in their new school. More trip posts to come soon. x

09.01.2022 You’ll never know what you’ll find on your way to a Lost City! Unfortunately I missed the chick on camera. #LitchfieldNationalPark #DaddyEmuandhisChick

08.01.2022 First Day in Litchfield. Checking out a field of Termite Mounds - 100's of them! Watching the Kites look for prey fleeing the fire and an old Tin Mine. I really don't get the reason why some people feel like they have the right to start bush fires and cause such devastation. :(

04.01.2022 Careful of your feet! Don’t want to get bitten by these guys. Termite Mounds.
