23.01.2022 It’s time to say goodbye..... Sorry, long soppy post, please read to the end and watch the video An English man, an Irish woman and Scots man walk out of a bar...... (there’s a first)! ... After spending many months of going back and forth on whether to keep our Bar going after COVID, as well as other issues with lease negotiations, and working full time in other jobs, we have made the decision to hang up our Five6eight boots as of December 1st for a little while and see where the next chapter in our lives takes us. To every one of you that has supported our little bar over the last 3 years, a massive THANK YOU for being a part of our family. We’ve had some great laughs, made some amazing friendships, and learned an awful lot about life itself! What we take away from this journey is priceless, and for that we are so grateful for To all our amazing suppliers, you know you are! Thank you so much for your help! Xx To the many talented musicians that have played for us and our customers, thank you!! To the East Perth Community for always trying so damn hard to spice up the area and continue to do so, keep going, it’s getting there! Thank you for your support!! To our wonderful staff, past and present! We’ve had so much fun over the years, and a few ups and downs along the way, but we couldn’t have done it without you all! Thank you so much! Out of everything we wanted to achieve, Community Spirit and a homely vibe was at the top of our list. We feel proud to be able to say that we achieved that! We brought many locals together in the area, and that makes us happy! We will hold onto our memories of Five6eight bar forever. It’s not all bad news though folks...... We are delighted to say, that the doors will stay open under a new name of @theclaisebrookbar The lovely Linda who you all know and love already will be taking over the reigns as of Dec 1st!! New menu, new opening hours, many of the same friendly staff faces and of course you’ll still get your Tennents!! Please like and share their page and keep up with the new changes.
