25.01.2022 Not everyday do you go out to clean the tables and come across a lost freshie!! He/she was safely caught by our very own croc wrangler, Isayah and was safely relocated back to Station Creek. Never a dull moment at the Roadhouse!

22.01.2022 It is with a very heavy heart that we advise Manning Gorge will not be opening anytime soon in the foreseeable future. Mt Barnett Roadhouse will be open to local community members only, meaning no tourist, or people outside of the community will be served. There will unfortunately be no fuel available so please do not come and make this very hard situation for all of us harder. This is so we can protect our Gibb River Rd community first and foremost. We thank you in advance for your understanding and cooperation. We will keep posting updates as things change, and we hope you all stay safe. Please dont cancel your plans. Please postpone them and come see us next year.

You just need to come into the roadhouse to pay the camp fees upon arrival. We have a very large area and you select your own site. Stay tuned for opening dates!

17.01.2022 Earlier last week, we had the privilege to welcome the postie bikes when they stopped with us on their annual Gibb trip, raising money for Beyond Blue and RFDS. Sadly, this is the last run they are doing so it all feels a bit bittersweet... We will miss seeing their dust smiling faces and not to mention their amazing support crew! #thegibblegends

05.01.2022 We would just like to remind those who are thinking of travelling up the Gibb River Rd that if you are not a GRR community member we will not be able to serve you, meaning no fuel, supplies will be available to you. So please do not travel up on the Gibb and expect to be able to come to Mt Barnett Roadhouse. We are closed to the general public until further advised.
