21.01.2022 For those who havent heard the story before: Whilst wandering through the back streets of Pushkar I stumbled upon a little store selling silk sari clothing. An elderly man with a warm smile invited me in for chai. I learnt he ran his humble little shop with his immediate family and it was their only source of income. Some times doing well and others scarcely getting by... I bought a gift for a friend and exchanged details.....the chats continued after returning home, and I a...m SO SO proud to now have an ongoing working relationship with this family. Throughout the entire lockdown period I have been able to support them by ordering and purchasing. It began with these sari tops, silk headbands, our silk carry bags, and we now have a dress range.
