25.01.2022 The famous warehouses of Bergen
24.01.2022 Last weekend, I caught up with my daughter who lives in Bergen, Norway. Bergen is the gateway to the fjords and the scenery is stunning. We drove through the fjords to the ski field to stay two nights in the hut in the photo. Have never seen so much snow and it was minus 23 degrees at one stage. Great weekend, especially the wild apres-ski party at the night club. Couldn’t find any Norwegian rain dear meat workers, but doesn’t matter as this was the holiday leg of my journey.
23.01.2022 Hello everyone, There has been considerable debate recently in the parliament and the community with regards to the proposed changes to the Citizenship rules. As you know, the current Australian Government announced on April 20 new rules would come into place for Citizenship applications and to be effective from that date:...Continue reading
20.01.2022 Onto Amsterdam for s few days. It truely is a beautiful city, even in peak winter. Managed to see the national art gallery where they hold the ‘night watch’ by Rembrandt and another famous painting titled the ‘milk maid’ .
20.01.2022 Next stop on my Scandinavian tour was Copenhagen. Dropped in on Prince Frederick and Princess Mary, but they were still recovering from their backpacking tour of Australia over Xmas. So, I went and said hello to the Little Mermaid instead. For those who do not know this sculpture, it is one of the most well known up this way. I must say I was surprised how small it was. None the less, I have now seen it. Copenhagen is an interesting city. The museum is worth a visit to see its exhibitions on medieval history.

06.01.2022 Hello everyone, It was great news this week to see the proposed changes to the Citizenship rules not going through our Parliament. This means all submitted applications (for the time being) will be assessed under the existing rules:... * 4 years total residency in Australia, and with the last 12 months having been Permanent Residency * No specific English Test - just the the existing Citizenship Test with multiple choice questions about Australia's political framework and social culture. This is particularly fantastic news!! However, rest assured the Liberal Government will try again in 2018 to tighten up the rules. With this in mind, if you are eligible now (or in the near future) to apply for Citizenship I suggest that you contact me to find out more about the application process. Email: [email protected] Mob: 0416 144 417 Kind regards, Paul
04.01.2022 Next stop on the European tour was London, where I met a great bunch of workers from Bedford, just north of London. Weather was not the best, but I still managed to see a few of the sights of London - the Tower of London, London Eye and St.Paul’s Cathedral, and just the walking the streets of the city. A quick stop for the weekend.
03.01.2022 More photos of Bruges
03.01.2022 Onto Bruges in Belgium. This old town is known for its canals, cobbled streets and medieval buildings. I would love to come back in Summer and see this town at a better time of the year. Still a wonderful experience at any time.
03.01.2022 To all my tennis friends, thought about a game of tennis at the Horsens club in Jutland, but in the end the courts were not ready. Not much action at the clubhouse either. However, I was impressed the club has been going since 1898. Must come back and meet fellow senior players!!
02.01.2022 Hello everyone, hope you are all well. The last two weeks I have been travelling in Europe to find a few meat workers who are interested in coming to Australia. First stop was Ireland - such a beautiful country with rolling green hills and windswept coastal landscapes. The Irish were so welcoming. After a few days in Dublin, I drove across the island to Galway and experienced the Irish hospitality with a client’s family on their farm near the city. ... Not far a way were the Cliffs of Moher - Ireland’s most visited natural attraction and rising some 300 metres from the Atlantic Ocean. A truely amazing experience and recommend that you see it. After a few wonderfull days around Galway, I ventured back to Dublin to see what the capital has to offer. A beautiful city on the River Liffey. The weather was kind to me as I explored the streets and little alley ways of this very old city. I loved Ireland and would certainly love to come back in summer and see the land in it full glory and colours. Above all, the people were so good to me and reminded me of last year in Brazil - the music, the food and the people combine to make this place a memorable experience.
