25.01.2022 Are YOUR workouts truly changing YOUR body shape the way you want them to? Are YOU optimising YOUR return on YOUR time invested at the gym? If the answer is NO listen in carefully as i really want you to answer this one question honestly? Are you eating for performance, so as to fuel your workouts and allow the intensity of your training sessions to elicit the necessary stresses for change?... It would seem from many, many discussions i have with clients that this may NOT be the case! Of course there is NO blueprint for this truly individual case for case eating and fuelling regime however i guarantee YOU this: If your training 3-5 times a week and report of the sessions being very very hard and YOUR fasted in doing so, its more than likely your doing your self a disservice. Again: everyone is different i get that, but once again if you have been training for some time (months - not days) with consistency and effervescence and YOUR still banging steel or weight training, and/or doing high intensity interval sessions NOT fuelled for performance then YOU truly are limiting YOUR return on investment. Hence the lack of returns on YOUR body transformation - just maybe! So do YOURSELF a favour and review YOUR fuelling for YOUR training and ask YOURSELF whether YOU could be performing better, feeling better and looking better by making some simple adjustments to YOUR nourishing around training times! Its NOT time to throw on the towel because its NOT working for YOU! ITS NOT about changing the goal, its about changing the processes so as to achieve YOUR goals! A really simple litmus test would be this: Are you getting stronger regularly? Are you able to perform more sets, and or reps consistently? Are you always looking forward to your training sessions? 17.01.2022 Chicken & Prawn Thai-style Soup So it’s getting colder - try this corker yo warm your tummy up Mighty fast, delicious and nutritious... 31g protein per serve 15 minutes to cook 4 hearty serves Ingredients: 600mls fish stock 4 x kaffir lime leaves or 2 strips of lime peel 4 sleices fresh root ginger 1 red chilli 1 lemongrass stalk 125g mushrooms sliced 100g diced sweet potato 75g spinach 75g snowpeas halved 6 spring onions chopped into 2cm lengths 2 chicken breasts 125g king prawns 2 tbsp lime juice Method: Place the stock, lime leaves, ginger, chilli and lemongrass into a deep wok. Cover and bring to the boil. Boiling the veges means the goodness stays in the broth rather than evaporating out of the frying pan. Time so far? 5 minutes Add the mushrooms, reduce the heat and simmer for 2 minutes. Time so far? 7 minutes Microwave for 3 minutes the diced sweet potato, and then add to the soup and simmer. Time so far? 10 minutes Add the spinach leaves, snow peas, spring onions; cooked chicken and prawns, and then simmer for 2 minutes until the prawns and chicken are heated all the way through. Time so far? 14 minutes. Add the lime juice, remove the lemongrass stalk and season with pepper before serving. Freeze any leftovers for a quick microwave meal. Total time? 15 minutes! Team: hook in this potent fat burning weapon!

Guys if you think fixating on an outcome will make you happy think again. Happiness and health are driven by the Golden triangle.... How u feel, function or perform, and how you look. If you diet that being eliminate calories to extremes, reduce the foods and nutrition you consume daily again to extremes, and exercise with unsustainable intensity and volume, I guarantee you won't be happy either. When you choose to eat from the ground, off the tree, out of the ocean or walking the land you are increasing your intake of nutrient dense foods and reducing if not eliminating empty calories that have few, if any, nourishment benefits! Vegetables are a prime example of a nutrient dense food, rich in nutrients, yet very low in calories. Nutrient dense foods are those then that pack a punch with extremely high levels of nutrients (python- chemicals the plants immune system, vitamins, minerals, dietary fibre, antioxidants) yet the energy content is slight. These are the healthiest foods you can choose to eat. Those other so called foods those refined carbohydrates, and unstable fatty acids are very high in calorie content, but extremely low in nutrient content, therefore leading the lethargy and malaise that you often feel within a short time of consuming the stuff.
