Key responsibilities may include, but not limited to:- * reception duties, including making appointments; * attending to enquiries from clients; * receipting and managing bank deposits; * use of a diary management system; * email and file management including keeping records and files updated; * working from notes and digital dictation; * assisting with stamping of documents; * preparing documents for lodgement with the Titles Office; * file auditing and archiving; * assisting with outgoing mail. Wages will be pursuant to the award - Legal Services Award 2010 - and based on experience. A probation period will apply. Finemore Walters & Story is a long established law firm which practices in most areas of the law. The firm is one of the largest in the Wide Bay area. We are looking for a Legal Assistant, Conveyancer or Paralegal. Experience in Conveyancing and Leasing or general administration duties may assist. Also, experience with Leap software would be an advantage.... The opportunity exists for a vibrant, well presented and experienced person to take a lead support role in the practice. To be successful in the role, you will have:- * experience as a Legal Assistant, Conveyancer or Paralegal or have the wish to learn and grow in this area; * ability to forecast and prepare for incoming tasks in an efficient manner; * exceptional document production skills; * advanced skills in Word and Outlook; * proactive approach; * excellent communication skills and phone manner; * ability to work under pressure, in fast paced environments and be able to prioritise urgency of work; * ability to work as part of a team to deliver an excellent level of customer service. Tom Smith - Member for Bu...ndaberg guest spoke to the Year 11 students, to discuss Government and the day-to-day occurrences of Parliament, while Sergeant Meg Caville visited the same classes, bringing expert knowledge on how to collect evidence of a crime and court processes. The Year 12 students received a visit from Sarah Protani, a Solicitor of Finemore Walters & Story and ex-student of St Luke's who discussed her path to becoming a lawyer, while Elliott Hoffmann, also an ex student of St Luke's, addressed the students on the topic of University and what 2022 will look like for him when he becomes a Judges Associate for a Supreme Court Judge. #InspiredTeaching
