21.01.2022 The Chief Justice of the Family Court has released the most recent stats for matters listed in both the Family and Federal Circuit Courts. He told ABC radio that there has been a 70 per cent jump in urgent applications to the Federal Circuit Court and a 200 per cent increase in more serious urgent applications to the Family Court between March and July. It highlights the importance of a correctly prepared will. The Supreme Court case saw the daughter of a wealthy conservative Jewish businessman successfully suing her father’s estate for $3.225 million, around a quarter of the $12.4 million estate, after she was left out of the will.
