22.01.2022 So our 40th year of the berri weekend came to a end yesterday. Perfect weather and perfect golf course. Chris bray was the winner of the Dave Edwards memorial and Andrew managed to win the 54 hole berri shield and the captains trophy thanks to extra handicap boost. A great weekend was had by all.

02.01.2022 Great turnout yesterday at Penfield everyone following the safe distance rules so we are still able to exercise and play the game we love. Winner was Jeff.

02.01.2022 Nothing has stopped the Gardens Golf Club in 40 years but the covid 19 has all golf courses will be closed as of notice from golf Australia today. I will keep a eye on everything and the committee will have a urgent meeting before golf commences back up with our program and comps. You are all very important to the gardens golf club and are loved.... Stay safe so we can hopefully finish out the year and get back out on the course for the game we all love. This isn’t the way we want to start our 40th year but we can make up for it later in the year. Stay safe

02.01.2022 Del Walker 2020 memorial was played today winner was Cameron 47 pts (21 hcp)Runner up 2 years in a row Andrew 40 pts (16 hcp) Penfield golf club was in great condition and covid 19 safety was a credit to the club and players fun and enjoyment was had by all while we can.
