25.01.2022 Friendly Reminder: On training days the clubhouse won't always be open. If anyone is wanting to hand in raffle books etc please let one of the committee members/club know by either speaking/messaging/emailing. The crew who you normally see in the canteen are volunteers, and generally are there during the week for training purposes.... Whilst we won't always be in the clubhouse, with some notice we can make appropriate arrangements with anyone seeking assistance Thanks

19.01.2022 We are very excited to be able to host the SWQ Football Camp at the Club on Friday 10 July 2020! Children will have access to some great coaches to assist in further development of their skills. This is open for children aged from U6 to U16. Session Times will run from 8.30am to 4.30pm. At a cost of only $50 for the day! If you would like your child/children to participate please email the club: [email protected] by July 3, 2020.... Children who register for the camp will need to bring a full water bottle, a packed lunch for the day, a hat and sunscreen that they can apply throughout the day. Our club coaches and managers are also more than welcome to come and watch, ask questions and gain coaching ideas and techniques to further your skills. Please remember to advise us (as per above) if you wish to attend as COVID-19 restrictions still apply and depending on participants there may be limited places.

15.01.2022 We would like to introduce coach for our Championship Mens Team... Adam Jackwitz We are thrilled Adam has decided to coach our championship Men.... Adam has a wealth of experience on the pitch but has also started to grow a great depth of experience off the pitch, coaching Adam has played for both the Redbacks and (the old) Toowoomba Raiders over the past 30 years. He has now coached both a senior Mens team intermittently for 5 years and also helped in the junior ranks by coaching a team over the last 5 years We are looking forward to another great season for our Championship Men - backing up from a terrific 2020 campaign

14.01.2022 Yesterday was a tough day on the pitch for our 3 Senior Teams. Unfortunately all missing out on the grand final day. Regardless, we are proud of each of the ladies and lads who took to the field in an already tough year and getting so far!... Its important to acknowledge a number of people who played an important role this year to get everyone so far - the coaches, the managers, the parents, those who turned up game after game to support the teams! Thanks also to the grounds men (best grounds in the comp!), our canteen convener and her helpers, our registration ladies and so on ! Here is to a better 2021! With all the Covid Restrictions in place, we highly encourage those that have previously played to please register online at home, to ease the numbers at our sign on days. Those players that had their fees rolled over from last year will still need to register online as well. For all new players wishing to join our Club, you can still register online or in person at one of our Sign On Days which are: Thursday 28th January 4-7pm Saturday 30th January 8am-12pm There will be NO Online Payments taken this year all Fees are to be made at the Club. We require a $50 non refundable deposit for the player to be allocated to a Team, with full fees to be payed by Season start. Payment plans are available if needed, just please ask one of our Team. He happened to be celebrating his birthday also! 85 and celebrating at the club which he commenced... Alan told me last night in those early years he was; President, secretary, the coach of all teams, the ref at most games, groundsman - imagine that! He was gifted with a Redbacks shirt & 85 printed on the top left corner!
