25.01.2022 What a bathroom! The elements in this bathroom are the same as every other bathroom. A window, floor and wall tiles, a mirror, shower, a bath and a vanity. However clever choices and creative design gives it the wow factor. If space and privacy allow, a feature window with a view or an outlook to the outdoors definitely takes a bathroom to the next level.

25.01.2022 Building a house can be one of lifes biggest and most exciting moments.... but to lose a home along with all your memories and possessions must be devastating beyond belief. I remember in 1990 I was 5yo and my dad left in a convoy of 60 fire trucks to help fight fires in NSW and to this day I remember the fear everyone had as they left. The unknown. The danger. Waiting until the news on tv each night to get updates. 24.01.2022 Outdoor fans and misting systems are nearly a necessity for an Aussie summer . During construction you may not have the budget for outdoor fans as they are sometimes more expensive than indoor fans. However, we do recommend that you consider your outdoor fan location then get support added to the ceiling and the electrical wiring and switches added during the build. It is much easier to do this when there is no plaster or bricks in the way . Then you can buy and install your fans later and everything will be ready to go. Also consider an extra tap appropriately located for your misting system. 24.01.2022 This kitchen in central to the home and over looks the dining table to outside. It has a @velux skylight and without the addition of natural light the kitchen would feel dark. It has a solar powered blockout blind which is handy for super hot days. 24.01.2022 Heated towel rails. We have them and love them. We had our electrician install hard wired timers on ours so they only come on twice a day which saves electricity. I love these upright ones because they look great and are possibly more practical in a house of full of towel throwing boys who dont appreciate folding and hanging towels over rails . Knowing your towels dry overnight or throughout the day is a hygienic bonus but also using a dry towel is so much nicer than a damp one . 19.01.2022 This wall could have been just a plain old wall, but instead, interest and space was created by using shutters. We love internal shutters as a great option to allow airflow and light throughout a home. They can be closed or angled so people dont see the mess behind them too. This photo is from Anzac Cove in Gallipoli, where we, many years ago, slept the night to attend the dawn service surrounded by thousands of others.
