22.01.2022 Hahaa Before and after !! I dont like tiling but it can be hard to find a tiler whos happy to do a little patch job. Managed to find the perfect 50year old replacement tiles at The tile library in Osborne Park.

19.01.2022 Wow. This was a first. We had a burst pipe behind the spa bath. The only way to get access was to cut through the wall of the bath, repair the faulty section of pipe and then silicone the piece back into place. Fortunately the bath had a crack in the base previously and was doomed anyway.

19.01.2022 Sooo quiet on the island this trip. Enjoying the view for breakfast but I eventually succumbed and lost my seat.

19.01.2022 More burst water pipes. Caused here by an electrolytic reaction between the copper pipe and small lumps of iron in the bricks.

18.01.2022 Maybe something only a tradie would love ? Its a vending machine that dispenses plumbers tape, duct tape, grinder blades and safety stuff. Weird but wonderful.

17.01.2022 Hahahaaa. Sorry. Not very exciting. This is a job at a huge commercial site in Welshpool. I installed 2 new single urinals. Working here with Kim from The Lot property group who did the new gyprock walls and painting etc.

16.01.2022 On site tradies clearing an area for a new garage have hooked the main drain with an excavator. Simple job for me to dig back to undamaged pipe and fit a new section of good pipe.

15.01.2022 The old 1 hour reno. Broken old plastic taps removed and converted to a mixer tap. Looks good and works even better!

15.01.2022 Its not a man cave. Its just a very nice double garage size rendered brick and tile shed with plumbing, full electrics, fridge, flat screen TV, and classic car storage. Beeeeutiful.

12.01.2022 Cheap and nasty plastic tap washers causing all kinds of problems here. We had badly leaking taps, a blocked shower head and a basin that delivered hot water and just a dribble of cold. I only fit quality solid brass tap washers.

10.01.2022 80% of this job is just locating the leak. Then pull up some pavers, dig a hole for good access, cut out the section of weak copper and weld in a nice new piece.

10.01.2022 My outdoor pool shower Hot and cold water with a button type mixer handle. And a custom outlet. ( actually the head from an old brass watering can- modified to fit the 1/2 thread) Ive then decked the wall to cover the pipe work.

09.01.2022 Typical burst water pipe. Nearly always on the hot pipe and very often within a couple of meters of the water heater.

07.01.2022 Lovely old home in Mosman Park still running the ceiling mounted solar water heater. You can just notice the solar panels over the veranda roof. This system is possibly about 40/50 years old!!!! But when she leaked, she leaked bad and was threatening to flood the ceiling. Unfortunately it had to go. Now running a nice Rinnai 26 litre instantaneous unit.
