21.01.2022 Time for confession. After over a month of compromise, following over 6 months of conscientious eating and exercise, I found my body rapidly began storing fat! 20.01.2022 Life has settled into a new phase and I do apologize for being silent for so long! I have discovered that losing weight is not a focus for itself, it is a by-product of other good decisions. Soon I will read the book, Atomic Habits which reveals the power of the small things done constantly, daily that have the biggest impact over time. For instance, finding alternatives to sugar and learning to like things less sweet...or introducing more greens in a daily smoothie...or maki...ng starches a side dish and above ground vegetables your main meal. All these are atomic habits. Getting up earlier for meditation and exercise, and then going to bed earlier. Boom...a new atomic habit! Do those things that make you feel good in your mind and body and slowly you get smaller. From there pick off the strategies you can succeed at...such as clearing fake foods out of your house ...AND replacing them with what does you good.
11.01.2022 I feel sheepish to write anything since I really have neglected this site! Anyway, it is tempting to view change of season as an incentive to get in shape and look better in Summer clothes! That may be OK in the short term, but changing how we do things works best long term. Being open to adding on new and better ways of doing the same thing ... gathering the best quality and high variety unprocessed foods and having lots of raw plant foods for the summer. I will actually add to these thoughts in small chunks from now on.

I don't even know if there is such a thing, but it would be an indicator of how much you move and how often, Even standing to do a job or read is effective. If you combine activity with a diet that is highly nutritious yet low in high GI carbs, you will see a steady rise in fitness and decline in waist size. 01.01.2022 So many of us feel we are going to ruin any good new food habits we have created in the past over this Christmas season. 1. We are the sum total of the many small changes that have stuck on a daily basis ... "atomic habits" ... there's a good book by that name! The exceptions are just that, good-sized, but don't let those departures become a new habit! 2. We can be more mindful of how we eat...not in the presence of distraction. That distraction could be eating while watching... TV, reading or even in company. Deliberately enjoy what you are eating and focus on company, not grazing food. When the new year arrives, seek to find yourself not built ridden, but in a mindset of enriched intentions! Please message me any of your ideas and experiences on this subject.
