08.01.2022 GENERAL RATE INCREASE (GRI) FROM CHINA, HONG KONG, JAPAN, KOREA AND TAIWAN TO AUSTRALIA The Shipping Lines operating in China, Hong Kong, Korea and Taiwan to Australia trade have announced plans to implement a General Rate Increase to the market effective from the 15th November, 2020. The Increase amount has been advertised as USD 50.00 per 20’, USD 1,000.00 per 40’ and LCL USD 15.00 per cbm/1000kgs with a minimum charge of 1 cbm/1000kgs.... This increase will apply in full on top of existing ongoing market rates based on shipped onboard date and will be subject to ancillary surcharges applicable at the time of sailing.
