13.01.2022 Hello all. ( please share this post ) It’s with great regret that our event for Friday the 20th at lucky bay brewery will be cancelled. Due to the new guidelines we have to obey with Covid-19 with no organised events and gatherings even though we would of had easy under 500 people it looks like that will change again by the end of the week. With the loss of just about all local sports and events it would of been a great chance to catch up and chat about everything and social...ise like the world was still ticking along normally. Everyone that has purchased tickets will be fully refunded as all your details are on the trybooking site it will be deposited back into your accounts. Stay posted and in touch for we will plan a post seeding catch-up / trip if everything has been restored by then. If people still like to go to the brewery as a general catch up if the brewery is still open that’s fine it’s just a ( non organised event ) might see a few of you there. Sorry once again for the SEPWA Youth in Ag committee Brett South - President

09.01.2022 Good to see everyone got a little bit last night around the EPZ. Much needed in most areas. Thanks to the guys on the coast for sharing it around. How much did you get and where ???

09.01.2022 Gday all. Now that corona is slowing down in WA we are going to start planning a local trip/ farm visits out east of Esperance. Stay tuned for details and updates. Looking at locking in a date in august soon. Thanks for staying with us and stay safe

08.01.2022 The recent trip to Vietnam included 13 young farmers from the area accompanied by Aidan Sinnot and Danny Sanderson. The facilities that we attended included Joe Whites malting plant and Little Creatures brewery in Perth. Intermalt Factory, Interflour factory, Heineken Brewery and World of Heineken in Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam. The opportunity to view the process from paddock to the end product was an educational experience and I highly recommend a tour of these facilities.

08.01.2022 Upcoming tour, great opportunity to meet some new people and gain some new ideas. More information to come

07.01.2022 A few photos from the Sepwa grasspatch field walk. Where they looked at Canola seed retention and variety trails, barley variety trails, lentils, peas and vetch trails and wheat , crown rot and barley fungicide trials. Topped it all off with a glyphosate over barley discussion and BBQ ... Thanks Aidan for the photos with the drone. Stay tuned for the next area field walk and follow the Sepwa Facebook page for details.
