18.01.2022 The official proposed route for the Dongara/Geraldton/Northampton bypass has now been released for comment by Mainroads and the below website has an interactive... map showing more granular detail on the exact corridor proposal. It runs from just south of Dongara, to Moonyooonooka to Oakajee, then north bypassing Northampton. The whole route is an entirely new road at times parallel to existing roads and highways. https://www.mainroads.wa.gov.au//projects/regional/dongara/

09.01.2022 Goodbye 2018with your rising temperatures, decreased rainfall and destruction of the places we love and the wildlife that calls them home. The Conversation s...corecard shows that 2018 was especially bad for nature. 06.01.2022 Do your bit for our endangered Sea lions: the Midwest port master plan is open for public comment. Our endangered sea lion hauling out within port limits (including seal rock) are not mentioned as an opportunity. They are locals, loved by locals and our premier nature based tourism attraction right in the heart of our Port city. Please ask the Midwest Port Authority to feature the Australian Sea lion in their master plan and list it as an opportunity "protect a threatene...d species" in keeping with the UN sustainability goals cited as relevant to the port (Fig 2). Midwest Port: "Protecting a threatened species" and port operation coexisting with an endangered (and declining species) - A potential high profile social and environmental licence to operate and tourism attraction for CGG. Win (port)-Win(CGG)-Win(sea lion) Open until 3 December 2019 https://www.midwestports.com.au/geraldton-port-master-plan.

03.01.2022 Spinifex Hopping mice and cat tracks at Greenhead, Dynamite bay lookout and limestone overhangs. Here brushing has been used successfully for coastal revegetation by the local Coast care group. It may even provide cover for native species to avoid predation.... It was a pleasure to visit and listen to your experience with #nacc.

02.01.2022 Wokatherra gap would house option 5 the oakajee transport corridor ..... it also has Murramongurra spring essential for fauna insummer. The corridor would disrupt fauna movement and we have such scenic Morseby ranges of high conservation value on either side. Yet another potential loss in the name of "progress'.
