20.01.2022 Following the most recent Federal and State Government announcements, Tennis Australia has updated the COVID-19 Community Tennis Guidelines for Continued Play. See below for the latest updates: https://bit.ly/39cY8vA

13.01.2022 Hi Everyone, As we prepare the process to open up our courts, please familiarize yourselves with a few guidelines set out by Tennis NSW. There may be more to follow, but we will keep you updated :) At this stage we will only be allowed to have a max of 2 people per court, but we will update once that changes and doubles is permitted.

07.01.2022 Hi guys, unfortunately I’ve just been given notice that all tennis courts are to be closed for both coaching and social hire from midnight tonight (27th March). I hope everybody stays healthy and we will see you back on the other side of this horrid experience! Take care Lisa https://www.tennis.com.au//tennis-nsw-statement-to-tempora

04.01.2022 Hi everyone! I hope you have all been keeping safe and everyone is okay. With the recent news of easing restrictions in NSW this may allow us to open up our gates! We will keep you updated as soon as we get the green light to go ahead with opening *there will be safety measures put in place to comply with NSW government and Tennis NSW regulations. ... In the meantime please comment, tag or share this post with anyone else you think will be excited about the potential opening of our tennis centre again We will keep you updated with any future developments Thanks, Glen Alpine Tennis Centre

04.01.2022 WE’RE BACK!! Have you missed tennis??? because we sure have!!!!! We will be opening up our courts this weekend - we do have to stick to some strict guidelines outlined by the NSW Government, Campbelltown Council and Tennis NSW Weekend time slots: ... The centre will be managed now from the centre itself as extra cleaning and information will be given to ensure the safety and well-being of the community *these times could change weekly, so please check back here for our updates Saturday and Sunday 9:00-1:00 and then 2:00-5:00 (last court hire is 4pm) Due to the centre now needing to be manned and extra cleaning needed pre and post court hire the cost of the hire will be $15 for an hour. As we head into times where restrictions may ease the centre may not need to be manned and we can go back to our normal pricing and hours. You will not need to collect the key from our house anymore, you can just make your way straight to the courts A few important key rules and notices - max of 2 people allowed on a court - if you have been overseas in the past 14 day’s, showing any signs of illness or been in contact with anyone showing symptoms please do not hire a court as we want to ensure we don’t re spread this horrible virus - courts to be hired for 1 hour at this stage - each court is to use its own entrance, however this will be explained when you come to the courts - markings have been placed on the court to ensure safe social distancing measures and again this will be explained to you on the court - please If you can avoid touching the balls with your hand and would be best to even have 2 different sets of tennis balls so it’s easier to play - we are unable to supply tennis balls or spare rackets at this stage - toilets and club house facilities are not in use, however can open up if an emergency If you do have any questions please don’t hesitate to ask! We look forward to seeing you! Thanks, Glen alpine tennis courts

03.01.2022 Further to ongoing advice from both Federal and State Government, we have developed a set of guidelines - COVID-19 Community Tennis Guidelines for Continued Pla...y which you can find on our website, where you will also find frequent updates (link below). Tennis activities will continue to play a pivotal role for our community in providing an opportunity to remain active, whilst promoting the benefits of physical and mental well being during these uncertain times. Our interpretation of the government guidelines would list the following tennis activities as acceptable: Coaching Programs (Individual, Groups, Small Squads) Programs such as Hot Shots, Open Court Sessions, Cardio Tennis Social & Intra-Club Competitions at the discretion of your local provider Casual Court Hire So our message is that tennis at a local level remains open. We can play without getting too close, without congregating in big numbers and without adding materially to the national risk posed by the spread of this virus. Social play within the appropriate structure should still be encouraged. We hope that these guidelines can provide further clarity to our tennis family and that you may choose to use this in promoting your venues and local programming. Please note that that all TNSW/TA sanctioned and operated events, tournaments and competitions will continue to be postponed in an aim to ensure the safety and well being of our stakeholders. https://www.tennis.com.au//COVID-19-Community-Tennis-Guide
