25.01.2022 Easter Hat time for Glenbrook Preschool children ...... drop by preschool between 9.00 and 3.00 pm from Tuesday and collect your Easter pack to make at home. These will be hanging on the park area fence for your convenience, no need to enter the preschool. We have just enough special packages for the children in the Frog and Caterpillar classes.

25.01.2022 COVID-19 Response Measures In line with current government advice and directions, families are reminded to keep children who are unwell home from preschool. In addition to this we are asking that if anyone in your household is being tested for COVID-19, that all members of the household do not attend school until the results of the test have been received.

23.01.2022 Please remember before you arrive.... To always follow advice from NSW Health and please do not attend preschool if you have been to one of the identified positive COVID-19 case locations in NSW on the days listed or have travelled to Victoria or been in contact with anyone from Victoria in the last 14 days. NSW Health latest updates: https://www.nsw.gov.au/covid-19/latest-news-and-updates Please be extra vigilant to protect our Preschool Community. If your child is experienc...ing any cold or flu symptoms or is unwell in any way please do not come to preschool. Families are asked to check this Facebook before coming to preschool and switch on notifications for your Skoolbag app for updates. Our aim is to continue to maintain a healthy and safe environment for our families and our teachers so preschool can remain operating. Please be mindful that should there be a suspected case of COVID-19, preschool would be required to temporarily close and this could happen at short notice. We need to protect the health and safety of our staff. Should multiple staff become ill we would not meet our regulated child to staff ratios and would have to temporarily close to all except children of essential workers. Please keep everyone safe and remember to wash hands, cover your sneeze/cough, practice physical distancing and do not come to preschool if you are unwell. Please keep up your amazing support and dont hesitate to contact us if you have questions or concerns, thank you.

21.01.2022 IMPORTANT UPDATE: Dear Families, If you have been in the Greater Brisbane Area since 20th March please don’t bring your child to preschool during the stay at home restrictions period and please follow advice from NSW Health for returned travellers. Public health alert - Stay at home restrictions... Public health alert - Stay at home restrictions - News (nsw.gov.au) 29 March 2021 People who have been in Greater Brisbane since 20 March who are now in NSW must comply with the same stay at home restrictions that apply to Greater Brisbane, regardless of their current location. This means anyone who has been to Greater Brisbane since 20 March is required to stay at home, except for essential reasons that include shopping for food and supplies, exercise, work and medical care, under the Public Health Order. People who have only transited through Brisbane Airport are excluded from these restrictions. With the relaxing of restrictions in NSW we ask all families to continue to stay up to date with current COVID-19 information from NSW Health, such as this post shared here, particularly with school holidays coming up and if you are traveling. It remains essential for anyone entering the preschool to please use the QR code every time you come into preschool and continue to read the NSW Health current case locations to ensure you are adhering to our Health Declaration when you sign your child into preschool.
