12.01.2022 A fantastic afternoon tea for Sister Doreen where we raised over $700 to start the fund for Liza (a nurse from Zambia) to go to university to become a qualified midwife. Doreen gave an informative talk on the health challenges in Zambia and enjoyed meeting everyone and is very thankful to all of you for your love and support.

Like many tertiary students in Zambia, Pauls journey to graduation has been financially difficult. We are proud to support him and wish him every success in his future career.

10.01.2022 I have joined with my very close friends and neighbours in forming this Non for profit charity. Dr Peter and his wife Carolyn decided after a trip to Zambia wit...h International Medical reliefe earlier this year to organise and develop a charity to focus more on the needs of the people in remote locations Zambia. When I heard the stories ( one was of a mother who walked for three days, sleeping by the roadside just to have her newborn receive medical attention) I was moved to help in anyway I could. Our teams consist of Dr Peter, His wife Carolyn, (a senior midwife) volenteers, Along with volenteers in Zambia. Supported by the Government. 10.01.2022 Thank you to everyone who attended our Globalinks Golf Day!

09.01.2022 Chief Medical Officer Dr Peter Locke recently caught up with Anthony Rodriquez (Dealer Principal) and Stephanie Rauicava (Marketing & Events Manager) from Sylvania BMW who generously donated a long weekend in a brand new X3 which was auctioned off with all proceeds going towards purchasing much needed supplies and equipment for St Lukes Mission Hospital in Zambia. In addition to medical, surgical and maternity services the hospital also cares for children and adults with end stage AIDS. The Foundation is very appreciative of the support of our local business community and their genuine interest in our work overseas.

08.01.2022 Team Thailand have kicked off 2019 for Globalinks and begun their work in very remote villages. Our experienced medical volunteers have been busy providing much needed care to those who would otherwise not receive it. A great start to the year and we are excited to see how many more people Team Thailand 2019 are going to make a difference for.

03.01.2022 Our team has arrived home safe and sound! The second week of our trip in Livingstone was filled with visits to the local hospital with teaching involved from our midwives, visiting old people home, shopping in local markets, braving a safari and a trip to Victoria Falls. What a way to kick off the first trip, a huge thank you to everyone who supported our team and the people of Zambia. Well done team Zambia 2018!

01.01.2022 Globalinks getting organised and ready to mobilise for our upcoming trips. We plan to visit 3 continents this year to provide much needed medical, optical and maternity care. Looking forward to 2019!
