As some of you may know, our usual venue is going under a major face lift in 2020, so we are excited to be hosting the 2020 Gold Coast Champs at SOUTHPORT SHARKS! https://southportsharks.com.au/hotel/ ... We wanted to spread the word early and will have more information coming soon! It will be the same 2-day format as this year, Friday Workshop and Dance Party Saturday and Sunday Competitions Workshop and Social Dancing with cocktail party at the Avery Bar! (New edition) We will provide more details in the coming days!!

16.01.2022 We are very disappointed that we are unable to bring you The Gold Coast Champs in 2020. During the current unprecedented global situation that presents all of us with an open ended date as to when the current health crisis will be over, we know cancelling this years event is the right decision. It is our belief that we will come back with a stronger connection next year, as we all pull together to support the Performing Arts Community, Our Community, The Modern Jive Dance C...ommunity. To our fellow dance companies, if you could kindly inform your patrons who were awarded a "Free Entry Voucher" to this years Champs that their prize will be honoured at next years event. Keep safe, stay connected and we look forward to seeing you at the Gold Coast Champs in 2021.

16.01.2022 This weekend was to see the annual running of the Gold Coast Champs Modern Jive Dance Comp at our New Location Southport Sharks, however we are all no stranger to the current events which has somewhat changed the landscape for 2020 for so many of us. As a team, we at the Gold Coast Champs have taken the time to get some rest this year, recharge and be even more ready for 2021, but we still had one more job to do before we wound up the Gold Coast Champs Banners for 2020 ..... We needed to draw our Major Raffle and extend our thanks to our sponsors Palazzo Versace Condominiums and Our Local MP- Meagan Scanlon. A special thanks to those who supported us and purchased tickets.
