They are currently on their "First Moult" ARE THEY LAYING?: Some are and some aren't - Depends on their stage of moult, Hens do not lay whilst moulting. 10.01.2022 back in May we adopted 8 chooks They have been so much fun... The first day they didnt want to leave their cage and we had to entice them out with food Now t...hey dont want to go in at night until we go to bed.... They squawk the minute they hear us wake up... See before photos and after photos One laid a 98 gm egg yesterday We have been getting 6 eggs from 8 chooks most days after 1-2 months when they were regrowing their feathers # happy hens # free range # fresh eggs See more
