16.01.2022 My Contact Kerin at the Certified Organic Wholesalers weekly update talks about Organic Week and sadly an Issue which is impacting Goodness Be directly. The Farmers struggling finding pickers!!! Our a Big Direct certified organic Farm, just outside Bundaberg, has now stoped delivery to me as the Farmer can’t do the drive due to no pickers and he is needed on the Farm. We still will add some of the products we used to buy from him, but as there is now a middleman, can’t be a...s generous as we used to be with them Let’s just all hope this crisis is resolved soon!!!! 09.01.2022 #JaellasHerbalAntibioticWeek: OREGANO is first up. Origanum Vulgare is one of the world’s greatest sources of Thymol. Thymol destroys microbes. It’s such an eff...ective antibiotic that more and more poultry farms have started using it to reduce the use of pharmaceutical antibiotics in animals. Just recently, Oil of oregano was found to be significantly better than all of the 18 currently used antibiotics in the treatment of the MRSA staph infections. Use it treat a sore throat, strep. throat and sinus. And it can also be used for any bacterial or viral infection. It's also anti-fungal. (Think SIBO, Candida...) It’s important not to confuse the Oregano we use for its anti-bacterial benefits (Origanum Vulgare) with the common oregano that is used as a spice for cooking - Origanum Marjoram. So when you're choosing a bottle to purchase make sure its the right one and that the carvacrol concentration is at least 70%. It's very strong tasting so dilute it in a little water (or straight beetroot juice). Take as directed on the bottle you get, but generally it's 5-8 drops 3 times a day - for 7 days.
