25.01.2022 One sleep to Early Childhood Educators' Day! Whether it be taking flowers and plants to your centre tomorrow, or sending them a photo of a picture your child has drawn - let's all bring a little sunshine to some very special people

25.01.2022 Its Dental Hygiene Week this week (3 9 August), so weve created some fun activities you can do with your toddlers to encourage them to brush their teeth on our Goodstart@Home website. These activities are easy to do and a great way to support the development and understanding of dental hygiene and teeth brushing techniques. This years Dental Hygiene Week theme is all about sugar and How much sugar is hiding is your trolley? Wed like to encourage families to be mindful... of hidden sugars in food. Making healthy choices at the supermarket extends to making similar smart food and drink choices at home. Early childhood tooth decay can affect your childs health and cause pain, making it hard for your child to sleep, eat or speak. It can also affect your childs ability to concentrate and learn. Children who develop dental decay at an early age are more likely to suffer from it throughout childhood. To find out more about Dental Health Week visit the ADAs Your Dental Health website: https://www.ada.org.au/tips

23.01.2022 Early Childhood Educator Day.

22.01.2022 Hi Goodstart families! As you know the Government announced today that the 'free childcare' package will expire on 12 July and that the CCS system will return f...rom 13 July, along with new transition measures (up until October) to support the sector and parents as they move back to the subsidy. This announcement is a little bit complex so we are working hard to understand what this means for our families and for Goodstart. We will provide an update to our centres and our families later today and over the coming days as we learn more. #5weekstogo! See more

21.01.2022 In the lead up to our Mother's Day Celebration, the kindy children have been very busy making a very special gift for Mother's Day.

21.01.2022 The year before school is so important for young children. It’s where they learn the skills to develop the confidence they need to make a smooth transition to school. At Goodstart the Kindergarten program is evidence based and is specifically designed for children aged 3-5 years. The curriculum is based on the Early Years Learning Framework, which is delivered by degree-qualified Early Childhood Teachers. This program nurtures children’s collaboration, communication, creativi...ty and critical thinking skills. Our approach gives your child the full benefits of a daily learning program while you are supported with the longer care hours we provide. That means your child gets the best start to their schooling, while you juggle the day-to-day demands of life. Find out more at: www.goodstart.org.au/kindergarten-sa

08.01.2022 We think its safe to say that 2020 has been a year unlike any other. For the world, for Australia and for our Goodstart team. Over the past few months people, ...families and communities have been tried and tested in the most extraordinary ways. As frontline essential workers our Goodstarters rose to this challenge, stepping up to support our 60,000 families and 71,000 children through some incredibly challenging times. So weve declared this week Thank You Week! A week to celebrate and recognise our 10,000+ Goodstarters for continuing to go above and beyond in face of adversity. We have a few special surprises planned for our Goodstarters this week, but in the meantime we'd love for our Goodstart families to get involved too! Please share your messages of thanks and support below and tag an educator or a centre who has really made a difference. #ThankYouWeek #InThisTogether
