20.01.2022 Richard's 07 Forester XT all dialled in on flex fuel and speed density via the factory ECU post engine build. It is now running a GIR built close deck EJ25 with Dom 1.5 XTR 8cm, GR STI TMIC and supporting mods. We also installed our new GIR 01-07 Catch Can system. 18.01.2022 Our GIR Driveshaft/CV Boot Shield now available for 5 speeds! These have been very popular for our 6 speed customers. We have been using these for a long time now for blocking off unused ports. For example, unused EJ257/207 center block port and balance hoses. Designed as gentle press in. 17.01.2022 GIR Tech Talk: 08+ STI Fuel Stumble with larger injectors A common issue seen when moving to larger injectors on the 08+ STIs is bad fuel harmonics caused by a mechanical issue in the factory semi returnless fuel regulator setup. We have tried to demonstrate the issue, looking at the affect on tuning and mechanical fixes. Sorry for the wind noise in dyno. Let us know if you like the tech focused vids!

17.01.2022 Introducing our new GIR Catch Can/Race Battery Combo with billet battery tie down. Designed to replace the factory lead acid battery, fits multiple vehicles , available as a package or individually available end of next week. The catch can is double baffled with x3 -8AN ORB inlets, dual -10AN outlets providing a huge range of flexibility in breather layouts while supporting the breathing requirements of high hp setups. Capacity of the tank is 3 litres and has a male -AN6 po...rt for easy draining of the unit. The race battery housing has multiple fixing points for flexibily for those looking to relocate battery and when supplied individually will come with a hinged lid and quick release detent pin. Sized to suit the Odyssey PC680 and Full River HC20 sized batteries . Both catch can and battery bracket are powder coated in a hard wearing texture finish. The complete kit was designed to fit in the OEM battery location and mounts using the billet battery tie and OEM tie points saving having to make mounts or find real estate to mount a catch can. 15.01.2022 We were finally able to go for the first shakedown on the new Emtron Engine Management Electronics KV12 and Modena Engineering Sequential with Shiftec Paddleshift setup. We had a very successful weekend ironing out the setup over the 2 days. As expected, it was very busy with traffic, but setting a lap time was not the goal. Finally able to get proper data on the car was intention, we can now make positive changes and get it where it needs to be. In the mean time, have a listen to the EG33 H6 with the Emtron controlling the shifts for smooth, fast shifts through the Modena sequential.

15.01.2022 Awesome power out of this turbo converted BRZ. Prepped and modded by our friend's at Chasers Performance with a Sydney Motorsport Engineering FBomb turbo kit, ID1050X injectors, 300lph fuel pump, Zeitronix Flex Fuel kit, and Pierburg 3 port boost solenoid. We tuned it on Ecutek Race Rom with Flex Fuel making 236kw on E85 and 194kw on 98 with smooth controlled torque and power.

15.01.2022 Oscar's 2015 STI making 278kw through the factory motor on flex fuel via factory ECU. This is running the smaller Dom 1.5 XTR 7cm at 21psi peak for near lagless spread of power. Check out the peak torque at 3100 rpm, more power than factory turbo everywhere. Super impressive setup if someone is looking to make most of stock motor!

14.01.2022 Ben brought his beautiful 99 STI in recently for Flex Fuel conversion utilising @link_ecu G4+ plug and play ECU. We took the opportunity to strip and respray his manifold while doing a top feed rail conversion and installed a GTPumps GTPS0283 ball bearing turbo. Great package making 232kw at the wheels.

10.01.2022 Oscar's 15 STI in for Flex Fuel tune on factory ECU. Very similar setup to Vito's we posted recently except this runs a Blouch Dom 1.5 XTR in 7cm vs 8cm. Spools like a factory turbo but huge increase in power, making 270kw at the wheels on 20psi through the unopened factory motor.

10.01.2022 Petros' 04 STI in for retune after PRO Speed Racing header change and surge tank setup. We installed a new GFB FX-S fuel pressure regulator to bring pressure back in line. Making 302kw through the stock EJ207 with ARP studs and Dom 1.5 XTR. Beautiful car!

02.01.2022 Introducing our new GIR Billet Expansion Tank. Available with brackets to suit a variety of locations across models as well as universal kit. The top cap of tank is o-ringed with six M5 cap head bolts to allow rotation, while the lower mount has 8 M6 threaded holes for flexibility in fitment and orientation. The body has two AN8 ORB fittings while the cap has BSP outlet. Available for sale next week on website in both black and clear anodised. Custom options in colour available in future. Tank can be customised for fittings such as coolant pressure, extra bleed port, etc!
