24.01.2022 Starting at 4 with free tea and coffee, we will kick off at 4:30 with outdoor worship and Danny bringing a message from Acts 18. See you soon!

15.01.2022 As many of you will be aware, our Youth Group is taking part in Relay for Life this year. We will be at the church from 9:30am until 9:30pm on Saturday, doing laps around our block to raise money and awareness for the Cancer Council. If you have the resources, we would love your support. You can follow the link below to sponsor us as a team, but if you go one further, you can find the individual participants under "our team" and sponsor one of the students directly. This wou...ld be a huge encouragement to them! Follow along at Empire Youth to see updates! https://www.cancercouncil.org.au/relayfor/teams/ei00188375/

12.01.2022 Just for fun, tonight we are having a social night with board games and karaoke. See you at 4pm!

11.01.2022 Tonight we are starting term 4 off with a bang: Greg is speaking on Acts 11 and we will have some focused time to pray in preparation for the rest of this year. We’d love to see you! 4pm for coffee, 4:30 for the service.

11.01.2022 This coming weekend we are transitioning back into face to face services across our whole church. We are incredibly excited to see one another again and to come together and honour God, even if it looks a bit different to our usual Sunday Services and youth events. Due to the size restrictions, we are asking people to pre-register to attend services and, where possible, to only attend one service on a Sunday. Friday night, Empire Youth is on for high school age students from 7-9pm. On Sunday, our morning service is returning at 10am and our CORE service at 4pm. You can find registrations for each service at www.goulburnbaptist.com/events

11.01.2022 If you want to join in with our youth this year and bring items for our food pantry program, here is our week one shopping list: toothbrushes and toothpaste. You can bring donations to the morning or evening services on Sunday, or send them in with your kids on Friday nights.

09.01.2022 We had a great time on Sunday afternoon enjoying being outdoors and cooking a BBQ by the river. Thanks to everyone who came along (and yes, there is an empty-sideways kayak in this photo, a few people had less-than-perfect balance )

04.01.2022 The amazing team are back at Revive Emergency Relief Program and working hard to support anyone in our community who may need some extra assistance. If you would like to help support this program throughout 2021, you can bring non-perishable food and toiletry items to the church on Sundays (during service times) or send it with your students to youth group on Friday nights.

02.01.2022 There is such a sense of worry and fear in the world at the moment. We can't deny that, and we don't. Many of us are worried too. We know that "perfect love drives out fear" but what does that look like in practice? What is perfect love? This is a love inspired by God, and by his son Jesus. It is a love that gives and a love displayed through action. While we might be worried this week about whether we will get sick, or about the people in our lives who are at higher risk th...at us, or whether our supply of toilet paper runs out before it gets restocked in the supermarkets, there are people within our community who are worried about how to feed their kids when their pantry is bare and their bank account is empty. The purchasing limits on non-perishable foods are making it even more difficult for us to do what we can to help. What I want to ask this week, is that you take a step of action. Fear leaves us paralysed: love propels us into action. Buy a few items that you don't need - tinned food, pasta, rice (if you can find it), or go and do a separate shop to get some things, and donate them to our Revive Charity. A little goes a long way, and is so badly needed. If we work together, we can reduce the fear and it's overwhelming effects, while also protecting some of the most vulnerable members of our community. Because our church building is closed for a time, and only open on Tuesdays to hand out food, we have organised a drop-off point for food. Within their business hours, you can drop food to Matt and Rupa at The Masala Mill Store on the main street. If you would like to contribute but can't get there during their opening hours, just send us a direct message and we will organise a drop off point near you. Keep praying, and keep taking small steps of faith and love.

02.01.2022 Our evening service will be returning to face-to-face from August 2nd. We've got some important information for you if you would like to join us, and we need you to register. We do have a maximum of 45 people allowed in the building, so please register soon to ensure you will be able to attend. Don't hesitate to send us a message if you have any questions or any trouble with the registration process. http://www.goulburnbaptist.com/events
