19.01.2022 Today's Message is from: Ephesians 4:1-16 KJV [1] I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called, ... [2] With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love; [3] Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. [4] There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; [5] One Lord, one faith, one baptism, [6] One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all. [7] But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ. [8] Wherefore he saith, When he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men. God's blessings are always undeserved. 3. We need God's blessings. 4. We need to plead for showers of mercy

02.01.2022 Today's Gospel message is from: Jeremiah 17:12-18 KJV [12] A glorious high throne from the beginning is the place of our sanctuary. ... [13] O Lord , the hope of Israel, all that forsake thee shall be ashamed, and they that depart from me shall be written in the earth, because they have forsaken the Lord , the fountain of living waters. [14] Heal me, O Lord , and I shall be healed; save me, and I shall be saved: for thou art my praise. [15] Behold, they say unto me, Where is the word of the Lord ? let it come now. [16] As for me, I have not hastened from being a pastor to follow thee: neither have I desired the woeful day; thou knowest: that which came out of my lips was right before thee. [17] Be not a terror unto me: thou art my hope in the day of evil. [18] Let them be confounded that persecute me, but let not me be confounded: let them be dismayed, but let not me be dismayed: bring upon them the day of evil, and destroy them with double destruction. Focusing on Verse 14 Expression of understanding the he is sin plagued but saved by the grace of God Ref. Verses Romans 7:24-25 KJV O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death? [25] I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. Points: Because of the disease that is sin 1. We are in disbelief in God. Ref. Verses Titus 1:15-16 KJV [15] Unto the pure all things are pure: but unto them that are defiled and unbelieving is nothing pure; but even their mind and conscience is defiled. [16] They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him , being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate. Romans 11:32 KJV [32] For God hath concluded them all in unbelief, that he might have mercy upon all. 2. We are separated from God. Romans 8:7 KJV [7] Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. 3. There is lawlesness against the revealed will of God.We do what we want to do. 4. We have a corrupted heart Ref. Verses Jeremiah 17:9 KJV [9] The heart is deceitful above all things , and desperately wicked: who can know it? 5. We love ourselves. Selfish. Instead of loving God. 6. The disease is incurable. Conclusion: "Everyone is plagued by sin" ...and we need the healing and salvation that only God can give through Jesus Christ.
