25.01.2022 Eurogliders music featured in a few TV and movie soundtracks. This is a clip from 'E Street'......it features two of the main characters, 'Wheels' (Marcus Graham) and 'Lisa' (Alyssa-Jane Cook), taking their relationship to the 'next level' while splashing around in the bath....all to the sound of Eurogliders', 'It Must Be Love'.....well, I guess it must have been love.....enjoy!!

25.01.2022 Bob King is a living legend.....this is a little collection of shots he's taken of me across the years.....he's got an unbelievable knack of absolutely nailing it when it comes to capturing both the moment and the essence of the person he's photographing. A rare talent indeed!
24.01.2022 This is another one of my 'isolation creations'.......another experiment in printing fabric, trying to put together some new threads for when we finally get back to doing gigs. This outfit was inspired by Nudie Cohn's suits from the 60s and 70s. I've really enjoyed learning how to manipulate images using photoshop and wrestling with the printing process trying to get something I was happy with. It's sort of inspired me to have a crack at doing some embroidery and really let my imagination go wild......if anyone from Brother Australia happens to see this I could really put one of your fancy embroidery machines to good use (sponsorship opportunity, wink, wink)!!!

23.01.2022 EUROGLIDERS WE WILL TOGETHER COUNTDOWN AWARDS Eurogliders performing live at the Countdown Awards.I’m not sure if this is 1984 or 1986. Countdown was incredibly supportive of Eurogliders, I think we did the Awards’ show three years. 17.01.2022 There's been a few comments recently, reminding me that I had a habit of climbing up on top of a speaker cabinet and pretending I was swimming when we'd do 'Learning To Swim'. Freestyle was OK but breaststroke was a bit tricky, you need to get the microphone back near your mouth to sing the next line!!
17.01.2022 I'm not sure this was the best marketing campaign ever. Sony did a limited release of my 'Stormy Weather' album in a little box with a pair of black ladies gloves. They were obviously inspired by this promo photo that was taken from the album cover shoot.

15.01.2022 I've been making some new stage outfits on the off chance we might, at some point, get back to doing gigs. This is an outfit I've been wrestling into submission over the last couple of months. I wanted to have a go at printing images onto fabric, so I had to develop a few skills I didn't possess for my usual sewing projects. It's been a bit of a challenge learning how to manipulate the images in Photoshop and then getting them to print out using dye sublimation printing the w...ay I wanted them. There's quite a few seams and darts that run through some of the images and it made my brain hurt working out how to chop the images up and print them on the various pattern pieces so they would come back together and look like the original image when the seams were sewn (I'm glad I bought extra fabric, there's a number of 'test prints' that ended in the bin). Between 1982 and 1985 Eurogliders did Countdown a heap of times including guest hosting the show four times. This video is from late 1984 and was made on the Countdown set. 09.01.2022 A real 'blast from the past', Eurogliders before they were called Eurogliders.....this is a very early photo of the original line-up when we were still called 'Living Single'.....we still have our original drummer, Guy Slingerland, in this photo, so I'm guessing it's 1981.
09.01.2022 Another blast from the past. This is one of our very early Eurogliders' gigs in WA in 1981, I'm a little surprised we topped the bill at this point in proceedings.....not bad value though $3.50 or $1.00 if you were on the dole !!

07.01.2022 Another little blast from the past....this is an advert I got a copy of today, it's from Juke Magazine and is for the Melbourne leg of our 1984, 'This Island Tour'....we played at the Hordern Pavillion in Sydney but I had no recollection of where we played in Melbourne....now I know, it was the Palais!! Thanks to Angie Paton for sending me this!
06.01.2022 Photos like this really make me really want to get back to doing my job....I miss getting on stage and doing my thing....I guess we just have to behave ourselves and keep bunkered down, particularly here in Victoria. 05.01.2022 The National Portrait Gallery in Canberra currently has a photograph exhibition titled Pub Rock that runs through to next February and covers the halcyon years of Aussie pub rock. It features photos from the 70s and 80s taken by a number of great photographers. I managed to get a guernsey and the photo of me was taken by Wendy McDougall (living legend). I think of all the photos that have been taken of me across the years, and there's been thousands, this is the one that I like the best and the one that best reflects who I am. It was also in Wendy's exhibition, 'It's Only Rock & Roll But I Like It' a few months ago and is included in her book of the same name so it's getting about.

03.01.2022 RIP Don Martin Sadly Mi-Sex bassist, Don Martin, passed away in the early hours of this morning after a long battle with cancer. Don was a sweet man and will be greatly missed. My sincere condolences to his family and friends.
01.01.2022 I've been rummaging through old disk drives today and I came across a few 'blasts from the past'. In the 80s we spent a lot of time, energy and money making videos for our songs...sometimes we'd even make little videos to introduce the videos. The little intro we made for 'Can't Wait To See You' stayed as part of the finished video but most of them got abandoned over the years. Here's one I'd completely forgotten about....enjoy!!
