06.01.2022 Dear GRs, Although there is no long term shortage of toilet paper, in case you are in short supply temporarily, I have attached our article 'Wee Wee Wipes' by Lucie Maxwell from GR 213, which explains how to make your own from an old towel or similar. If you have ever used a cloth nappy you will know the drill!

05.01.2022 Any lovely people have suggestions for Marlise? - I would like some advice from GR-ers regarding size of land. We are hoping to retire to Benalla from Melbourne (mid 60-s and healthy still). We would like an acreage of land, however haven't agreed in size: my idea is 10 acre, whereas my partner prefers 40 to 100 acre with the idea to have a large proportion as agistment property. What do we have to think of to agist land? Will we be getting out of our depth with a big prope...rty? We are not planning to do anything with the land except veggy garden, fruit trees (maybe), chickens and maybe some goats. Is there anybody who can give us advice? Does it make sense what we want to do? I have always lived in a village growing up in Holland, so looking forward to country life again. I am hoping to do a hobby farm course or so when available.Thank you, and thanks for the Grassroots mag, I've been reading it ever since I've lived in OZ (since 1986!). Cheers, Marlise. See more
