23.01.2022 Today Dusty, Felix and Fletcher (with the help of some apprentice Green Beginnings builders), spent their show day holiday building a very swish cubby house for our play space. We are so very lucky, and so very grateful, to share our days with such gorgeous loving families. Thanks guys #Dadoftheyear#thankyou#thechildrenhavealreadybeensoengagedwithitcommunityspirit

22.01.2022 Today is Early Childhood Educators Day :) We take this moment to thank our Educators for the love and joy they share with our little people and their families every day. Know that you are an integral part of a "village of people" helping to guide the world into peace, kindness, love and gratitude. x Enjoy your day

22.01.2022 Our kindy children were delighted to create these drawings for elderly members of the community who were isolated. We really hope it helped to brighten your day.

21.01.2022 Over the coming weeks we will be rolling all Green Beginnings (Innovation Parkway and Sportsmans Parade) social networking pages into one, and collectively posting on a new page Green Beginnings Child Centres and Kindergartens (a link to this page will be added soon) We are also very excited to share the news of our new Bokarina Beach site, currently in the early stages of our design process. Thank you for your ongoing love and support ... Narelle and Andrew See more

21.01.2022 This afternoon Stephanie and Sebastian set up a plant shop in reception. They sat and waited patiently for customers to arrive and asked very politely 'Would you like to buy some plants?' 'The shop will be open again on Friday!' It was a busy afternoon for our little friends, who worked hard to raise money for 'people who don't have a home' Stephanie told her customers! #Compassion #Childrenmakingadifference #TheShackNambour

18.01.2022 A big thank you to everyone for all their hard work and support. We were able to raise a whopping $555.00 for the Australia Zoo Wildlife Hospital just in time for Christmas.

17.01.2022 Hey amazing families, tomorrow is Community Nature Play! come to Nambour Community Centre 9.30-11.30 and get involved in some sensory outdoor adventures. All free, all fun, come and connect with some people in your community and let the little ones play.

16.01.2022 Bubbles not Balloons! A study by CSIRO in 2016 indentified balloons as one of top 3 pollutants threatening marine life. This week a bunch of balloons were foun...d 250km out at sea off the east coast of Australia by scientists aboard the research ship, Investigator. At our beach clean-ups we remove balloons from the marine environment and whilst on the water we frequently spot them. Just because they go up and away doesn't mean they disappear. Rethink your parties and events and give the balloons a miss! #StemtheTide #Noballoonrelease #EveryPieceCounts

08.01.2022 We are waiting for the universe to send us this amazing person

08.01.2022 Lion King Ooshie Found on Gold Coast Beach! On Sunday during our cleanup on the Gold Coast, a member of the public found a Woolworths Lion King Ooshie on Narrow...neck Beach. The young lady named Tamra found the plastic toy in the tideline among sea weed and shells. This is the second time in just over a week we are reporting finding promotional plastic toys at a beach location on 27 July at Jindalee Beach in Perth a volunteer picked up two of the Coles Fresh Stikeez toy vegetables which had been given out to customers as part of the supermarket’s promotional marketing campaign in February. We asked Tamra to tell us what her thoughts were at finding this toy on the sand. I immediately recognised it as it was bright orange! I was so disappointed to see it already littered on the beach because they have only been in circulation for a few weeks, said Tamra. As someone who works with children I think it’s so disappointing that we are sending these messages to children that we can consume high quantities of single use, non-biodegrade plastics (even single use toys) for no real purpose which then have impacts for our environment - even within a few days or weeks of obtaining it. I think disappointed is the exact word of how I felt, said Tamra. We couldn’t have said it better. Thank you to Tamra and to everyone who comes to our clean up events around Australia. We all need to work together to stem the tide of plastics finding their way into the environment. That doesn’t just mean the general public many of whom are already looking at ways to reduce their plastic footprint and are helping to clean up our beaches, but in particular to businesses, industry and government who have incredible power and the opportunity to make smart and sustainable forward thinking decisions. #ooshies #woolworths #stemthetide #everypiececounts #seashepherd #plasticisforever

08.01.2022 At Green Beginning we believe in nurturing and protecting our most precious gifts - our children and our planet. So when we heard about this young lady Laci and... her good friend Liv who teamed up to create a perfect solution to the problem of throw away plastic cutlery ending up in land full we were. delighted to have them join us in our Plastic Free July mission. We are trying to lead by example and show how small changes can help protect the planet. Liv and Lace have repurposed fabric to create clever little eco friendly pockets that hold cutlery and a metal straw that can be kept in your handbag. You’ll never need throw away cutlery again. During July these kits will be available from reception at our Sportsmans Parade centre. Congratulations Liv and Lace on helping us to make a difference for the planet. See more

02.01.2022 Thanks to the generosity of Tahnee, owner of Hello Baby 3D, the children at our Innovation Parkway Kindy were given an opportunity to further their knowledge, support their theories, widen their wonders, and share in the joy of a growing human, with their very own 3D viewing of Baby Walker The children have spent most of the second half of the year walking alongside one of our teachers, Alicia’s, journey into her and her husbands pregnancy. It began with a scan, and evolv...ed into so much more ... so many questions, so many wonders, so much prior knowledge. Our kindy family have been connected in this shared love. Here are some of their voices... http://www.hellobaby3d.com.au/

02.01.2022 We are hoping to find a Service Director for our Innovation Parkway Green Beginnings... a person who holds the same vision, the same passion and the same aspirations for children as we do. This person will work alongside our Kindergarten Director, our Sportsmans Parade Directors, and our Educational Advisors to help sustain our reputation for providing high quality learning within our community. IS THIS YOU ?? xx

01.01.2022 A great read heading into Fathers Day
