25.01.2022 What do you think @_its_me_rico is thinking, right now? Help us caption this pic?

24.01.2022 This year has reminded us just how much our loved ones mean to us - and that goes for our pets, too. Before we bid farewell to 2020, we wanted to take the time to express our most heartfelt gratitude to our clients and also our vets and vet nurses who have worked tirelessly throughout the year to keep pets (and their humans) happy, healthy, and safe. A monumental task, undertaken in unprecedented circumstances with immense care. We often hear people say, we couldn’t live without our pets, because of the special kind of love they bring. Well, we think the same goes for our vets and vet nurses. They are true superheroes and we are so thankful for everything they do. More than a Facebook post could ever say. Let's all reach out and give a whole lot of love to your vet team today.

16.01.2022 Now that the weather is getting warmer - we want to hear your favourite places to go with your pet. Share below.

16.01.2022 Please meet our superstar for the week, 4 year old Monty! Being a brachycephalic breed, Monty has a smaller mouth/nose area and suffers from dental overcrowding, making him more prone to dental disease. After having his teeth cleaned and his dental X-rays taken, it was discovered that Monty had more extensive dental disease than we expected. Monty had to have 24 of his teeth extracted this week, and we're happy to report he's on the mend and will be feeling much more comforta...ble without his rotten teeth! We recommend regular dental checks, daily teeth brushing and dental treats to help keep your fur babies teeth in tip top shape The second photo is of Monty being preoxygenated. We do this for every patient prior to their anaesthetic. Preoxygenation prior to the administration of induction drugs helps to replace nitrogen in the lungs with oxygen, which greatly reduces the risk of hypoxemia (low blood oxygen).

12.01.2022 Good dental exercise will help to keep teeth and gums clean and healthy. For, probably the first time ever, eating food will be considered exercise. To be eligible, please head operationwanted.com.au to find your nearest participating Greencross Vet and register online.
